her sleeping knowing her album is due in a month

Most of her albums have a 2-year gap. Only Honeymoon and BB have arrived the year following her previous record.
 
Six months ago, she obviously thought Lasso would happen sooner ala HM and BB. But it's clear now that it's likely to be a 2025 release as per the usual gap in between records.
 
In the meantime, we've likely got one or two more Quavo tracks, maybe some unreleased content, collabs, concerts, and the first Lasso single, if we're lucky, so this is a very standard release wait time for the fans.
 
The only mistake she made was to speak prematurely and announce the record for September, but she has since rectified that statement. So, we're all on track for Lasso 2025.

But nothings actually been said and this is why I can’t stand 2024 culture- everything has to be interpreted as hatred or vile behaviour without considering hypocrisy.
 
You can’t acknowledge a massive LGBT fanbase as making up your source of money and then wonder why people are upset when you’re with someone who wants to take away said fanbase rights- likewise pointing out someone’s weight loss is not the same as skinny shaming but I’ll leave this convo at the door.

I really like this dress. She does look happy, and I’m genuinely glad for that, in its own realm.
 
As for everything with her new beau, I’ve reached a limit. I had a hard time for a bit post-Judah Smith on Ocean, because it was clear that this was someone she actually/actively supported, and felt okay promoting to her largely queer fanbase. Now dating a post-insurrection Trump/P25 supporter, among the other abhorrent things he posted about, while insisting to the fans that he’s actually kind/smart/caring?? It’s fucking wild, and a hard sell, as a queer woman living in the US.
 
Despite what some people here want to say, it’s a lot deeper than fans just not liking her new bf. Lana sold her political views to us (no shade, it’s her right!) through her art, and people are allowed to comment on the disparity between the words and her actions.

Why did girl get married in a recording studio anyway

Idk how else to explain but her taste in men is very aggressively heterosexual and I mean that in the most neutral way possible. Like y’know how people say everyone’s a little gay, Lana’s taste in men makes me think she leans more towards 0%.

honestly many of them if they're final versions of studio songs from lana del rey-era songs, like earthquakes or dragonslayer, i'm happy with the versions we have and i can't imagine they're significantly different or better

1. I Talk to Jesus (Organ Intro) - I know it's very likely to be the final version, but even if there are other versions, I don't really care about them. This one is already pretty awesome, I don't think any other extra production will improve it.
2. California (2015) - I'd love to hear a final version, but it's not something I'm extremely excited about cause the version we have is far from rough and I could do with it being a final or even the only version we ever get. Some mastering would improve it ofc, but I already love it so much that I'm not losing sleep over the possibility of other versions.
3. Lake Placid - it's just so good as it is and goes so well with the other acoustic Tropico/UV outtakes (Nectar, Cherry Blossom, Living Legend, Brooklyn Baby and West Coast demos) that I don't really feel like it needs more polishing.

I feel like the full music vid is probably a lost cause  I hope one day maybe we can at least see some clips from it though
