we know how she is, it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone at this point. 
However, I must admit that I wish she gave us some news regarding Tough since she teased it with a snippet over a month ago (same as Henry, but I guess I had already figured out it would be the new TJF / Candy Necklace of this album). When she teases a song with a snippet, this is when my brain goes crazy and can’t wait to know when we’ll hear the whole thing

Music To Watch Boys To (there has been a debate that she meant record as a song but I've noticed that she has mostly talked about albums as records) -> Honeymoon
Best American Record (idk if this has been 100% confirmed but Eclipse has said that many times) -> Lust For Life
Bird World or Burnt World (depends what you hear) -> NFR!
White Hot Forever -> COTCC
Rock Candy Sweet -> Blue Banisters

I would be genuinely surprised if she keeps the Lasso name and won't change it. Hell, I would even believe that it had maybe few previous titles before as well because she has been making that album for 4 years.

Sometimes I think Lana fans forget how rare it is for your fav to drop a full length studio album (almost) every calendar year

SNIPPET ON THE LAST SLIDE SHE’S COMING 

For me recently it has been Last Girl On Earth.
 
I never quite understood if it was an allegorical and figurative song, or perhaps just in a demo form. But I’ve also resonated with it. 
 
But now I understand it to be an open ended love letter to her husband or boyfriend after she has died. She makes references Cleopatra and Mary (roses in my hair) who can be understood as iconic, supernatural female historical characters. She makes statements at contrast with reality (I’m the last girl on earth, they play my favorite song on the TV). It’s more or less her looking into the world after she has died, think back to how the world reacted to the death of Princess Diana or Michael Jackson. I would also say there are references to her being very much dead as she says “I get so tired being on display somehow / Sometimes I get lonely, but millions all know me now”, suggesting she has since passed and her form can be loved only spiritually.
 
The song’s theme of death (or in particular suicide) is mostly extended by telling her previous boyfriend/husband to join her in the afterlife by claiming “No such thing as heaven”right before the song ends. 
 
In a way she could be kept in some sort of hell/purgatory scenario too.
 
Has anyone else made a similar revelation? 

I remember when I first heard honeymoon I was convinced Swan Song was literally like this is the last album - I was very sad like omg no.
Especially when around the time I read those articles after born to die Lana claimed she didn’t know about making another record.

there’s currently 108 days between now and Sept 30 (the last possible day in sept). Less so for the last Friday in Sept. If we do get this album in Sept and get a single pre-release, it’ll be her shortest cycle in recent history.
