Crimson and Clover

it makes me sad how much the franchise has basically fallen; literally all the sims games before 4 were really fun to play. i feel like 4 actually really had potential but so many features were left out of it and the expansion packs were really minimal compared to those of the previous games. i'm really hoping they fix stuff up for the sims 5 but i'm not holding my breath for EA.

How to Disappear is perfect and misunderstood. It's like a studio album's version of a laptop demo if that makes sense, and I mean that as a compliment. It's completely charming and meaningful and the more I hear it the more I love it.

I miss the LFL slander, Norman's is undeserved  at least 'til we get some demos that are better than the final product.

Let's not pretend that "I drive fast, radio blares, have to touch myself to pretend you're there" is a more unique lyric than almost everything she wrote on NFR. People can say what they want about the production of NFR (which I strongly disagree with - I think it's perfect and deliberate and aging like fine wine) but I really don't understand how people can say NFR is lyrically safe or boring. It's some of her best and most unique songwriting, and the album will easily stand the test of time for good reason.

i've actually never head this version of the song, thank you for this omg  i've always wanted lana to cover king crimson and this version would suit her so well
speaking of progressive rock, I would love it if she covered this. i also think lana could really cover any carole king song, especially because she seems to love singer songwriters from the 70s.

Nothing too in your face, but it does borrow verbiage from spirituals.  I KNOW it’s a old song too.
I love the cover, her featuring Tata Vega is also awesome. I guess it’s just the question for the culture still getting discussed in the media that’s making me extra cautious?
