The pre-chorus and the bridge is what I love most about the song.

Lana received a hydrafacial today from Elliceskincare in Los Angeles. Also, her acrylic nails have returned! (Unless it's an old picture, it looks very 2014. It was shared by the spa's staff today though.) I can't believe someone can look this beautiful while receiving a facial.

I think 'architecture' is a reference to her body and personality, which he (being her lover), would've seen as exceptionally attractive and beautiful, therefore he saw it is architecture. But he got caught up in fame, and became interested in money and power, and probably also other women (although I don't think that is mentioned in the song).
