New album coming in October! The possible title is Ocean to Ocean. It seems like preorder October 1 and full album on the 29th.

Nothing Is Enough is a wonderful album, for sure!!! My favourites might be Blood and Water, Avalon or Ghost Story ("Why'd you even bother just to turn into a ghost?" ) I really loved the emotion in your voice, the minimalistic production, the lyrics and the intimacy of the songs. Also, I'm loving your interludes have *substantial* lyrics, instead of just being instrumentals, which I liked a lot. Great project! If anything, I would've made some songs a little longer (CJ, The Toll), but it actually balances with Avalon so I don't mind.
I'll be for sure purchasing it - just let me get some coin first  
I'm going to be checking your other releases too! The poetry collection gives me Violet vibes just by the title and description, I need to check it too

Less can sometimes be more. Her new songs with less instrumentation show her real singing talent, what she is really capable of. In Blue Banisters her voice has so much power as we've ever heard in a song before.

a good artist is someone who continues to make art they care about and believe in, regardless of other people's subjective opinions.
she knows she's not for everybody, she had to learn that at a very young age.
 
it gave her actually a very unique place in the music world. a place where she had literally nothing to lose and everything to gain by making some cool stuff.
her last project was pretty fuckin great tbh. NGL is one of the best songs of the year for me.
 
and i agree, being an incredible singer does not make the end all be all "great artist"
to think that way must be a black and white sad reality lol. art can be so many things, not just the things you like.

Chemtrails is eligible for 2022, but Blue Banisters would probably go to 2023 if it were to be nominated (and I don't think they're too concerned about songs or albums being a few months to a year old as much anymore, Lizzo's "Truth Hurts" was nominated quite a while after it was released). I do think it'd be nice to see Lana get recognition like that from the Academy, but it's not something I really expect after LFL and NFR lost their categories in 2018 and 2020. 

I would like to see Lana win at least one Grammy, yes since she definitely deserves to be awarded for her excellence. But the Grammys suck in their nominations most of the time and recently almost always have given the awards to less (or just completely undeserving) songs/albums/artists

The melody of this song is gorgeous, don’t get the hate. 
 
The remix is messy, it does not fit the song at all and sounds dated.
It actually fits the song better. The demo is amazing, but it’s basically the same progression throughout the whole song. A build up is a good choice actually.

thunder is more stripped down in the beginning. it starts with just piano and vocals really and as the song goes on it builds up and there are guitars and other instruments that are similar to the version we've already heard. 

I kinda vibe to this honestly, esp the doubling in the chorus, but I’m already a shameless LMLYLAW fan. Def better than that demo 

Halloween Kills is like the only movie I’ve been looking forward to this year. Words can’t describe how excited I am to see it in a few weeks!!
