in "drive by", a song about K's crime and arrest, lana sings "is this what you wished? did you wanna die?"
in "hawaiian tropic", lana sings "'every man gets his wish--' you told me this, now you're gone"

just thought this was so sad and bittersweet-- K had a death wish and ended up finally getting it

(honestly i feel like K is the most enigmatic piece of lana's songwriting-- obviously this guy had a HUGE impact on her-- and yes, i believe he most definitely really existed. her songs about K seem to be more personal than much of her other material. poor lana and poor K)

Imagine the music she would've made if AKA had taken off, though...

I'm a little late to the game here, but @Eclipse posted some very interesting information that pertains to AKA in his info post. I've also included a couple facts pertaining to Steven Mertens, David Kahne, and a fact about a possible stage name of Lana's at the time of recording. Info like this (especially like the tracklist info, imo) reveals that this period in Lana's life still has so much left to uncover and enjoy! Thank you @Eclipse

I've been sick for like almost a week now and I haven't been editing because I just don't have the strength to do so. On the other hand however, I do have some old edits. (I don't have the texture I used for Old Money anymore so please don't ask for it.. I also can no longer find the tutorial for it so yeah that sucks)

tear it up, queen. said exactly what i've been thinking every time i see some of these so-called 'fans' being so judgmental. yes, she's a celebrity, but no, that doesn't make her inhuman.

I have a theory that the song 'In The Sun' is about Bob Leone:                   This is a work in progress

So basically Bob was Lana's and Gaga's manager and bob basically ditched Lana for Gaga so in the lyrics

"You told me that we could have it all, Now you're posting pictures on your wall,
Of you and her together, what the hell?"       So Bob telling Lana shes gonna be big but him not doing anything to help her and paying more attention to Gaga.   "You took all my money and you went off on the run."       Bob leaves Lana for gaga (her paying him for doing nothing)   After that Lana starts hating on Gaga with "So Legit"        cause shes jealous?

That'd be like going in to the POY thread saying someone is unflattering and the person saying just because they're *whoever* can't mean I can't have opinions on them.
