why do old men keep reviewing her music? like there's a 99% chance they won't get it, the music is not for them. I don't want them to listen to it idc 

Im jasmine masters and i have something to say... here's my album ranking after a few listens now.. best to worst (new songs only)
1. Love Song (the holy grail of lana's character)
2. Cinnamon Girl (dark, sexual masterpiece)
3. Norman Fucking Rockwell (beautiful intro)
4. California (wonderfully sad)
5. Fuck it I love you (interesting and different for lana)
6. The greatest (ehhh, its alright)
7. Happiness is a butterfly (the exact same song we've heard for 2 years but... ok, still good)
8. How to dissapear (cute song)
9. The next best american record (seriously pointless)
10. bartender (the most dull song on any of her albums)

If his review is sexist, dont even dare to read the review by this pig

No surprises so far. But there are definitely a few very interesting and revealing reviews where it feels like the person reviewing the album is quite aware that she's having a moment, ''last laugh'' kind of moment, and they don't want to join in for obvious reasons. Giving this album 3 stars is straight up trolling.

It's fucking hot HOT, winter in the summer. How can we forget the iconic Heroin bridge.

Y'all forget that Norman Fucking Rockwell is a summer album set in an apocalyptic world. By having a xmas song in the middle of the album Lana is telling us that climate change became so severe that winter turned into summer, and now when they celebrate xmas there's no more snow or winter because it's fucking hot and California is in flames. It's all part of the storytelling keep up with it hoes 

The critical acclaim... I'm so proud of her, she has created her best album and critics are responding well.

This album will be produced by Jack. She’s been writing EVERYTHING with him and he’s been pulled by her to produce a lot of songs recently. I wouldn’t be surprised if she has 50% of the album finished. Demos for sure have been recorded. This album is gonna be in the same vein as fuck it i love you, hey baby blue, and that other one since those had been written last.

I'm finding it difficult to get any sense of the score of the Variety review: the writer has decided to go down the tired-as-hell path of talking about Lana as a concept, and mostly only describes the sound and quotes some lyrics? There doesn't seem to be an overarching opinion over whether it's a good album or a bad album - just that it's a Lana Del Rey album (which... duhhhh)

everyone on here is like a broken record wanting uv 2.0 or hm 2.0 all of her albums are so unique why would you want her to try to remake excellence 

i think a lofi hip hop album would be really sexy coming from lana like don't stop and queen of hearts yeah that's what i want

The title alone is DEFINITELY grunge, trip hop, psychedelia, surf rock vibes.... I hope she pulls through
