I don't think we are getting any info because she wants the dust of Lorde and Halsey to settle before trying to get anyone's attention again. She probably knows she missed the boat, and trying to promote an album while so many others in her sphere are dropping theirs just seems like it wouldn't be as effective. It makes sense to me to wait until next week or the week after for the preorder or any announcements since we are finally through the big releases of June, and next week is a month before, which I think is more the timeline she's historically worked off of.

Maybe all of this Lorde acclaim will inspire Lana to want to try new things production-wise

The Shangri-Las influence is very obvious in the verses of Lust For Life tho. And I'm sure the Joan Baez influence will be obvious as well as soon as we hear the acoustic songs on the album... at least I hope so.

Shit I feel like this could be right. Remember her livestream that she scheduled for 8am to announce Love? How crazy happy and hyper she was? I thought that was sort of out of character for her (but I loved it). We haven't seen that side of her since, no?

I'm definitely limiting myself with Love and Lust for Life as well, I've already listened to them a lot and I'm sort of trying to avoid them now, especially having them on repeat. Thank god Lana has a lot of music to listen to meanwhile waiting for July, and Melodrama is kinda keeping me busy at the moment as well.

Like idk how some of you can be like "God Bless America probably has piano and violin with a soft drum that comes in at :30 and the bridge that we haven't heard yet is so gorgeous and makes me cry every time! HER BEST SONG! SHE REALLY DID THAT!"
 
Like???? It's just really funny to me and gives me a good giggle @ how desperate for ANYTHING we are, that some of us are sitting around trying to guess what songs we hardly have any info about sound like! 

I'm starting to think the album isn't coming July 21 anymore
