Is anyone else filled with anxiety that she, or someone accompanying her, might give COVID to people in these communities?

 

I know she's trying to do good and that's great, but I really feel like the middle of a pandemic is not the time to be touring Native American communities.

This trip wasn’t put together on the spur of the moment. It was planned in advance so I’m sure the planning took this into account. I wouldn’t worry about it as this is a humanitarian trip of sorts and those kinds of things were not stopped. These kinds of things have continued but with safety measures. It’s not like any mass gatherings will be going on and I’m sure most of her time there will be spent outdoors anyway.

Looks fine and happy to me too! She is in NM now not for herself but for Navajo Nation. I think as her fans it will be important for us to focus on the issue at hand she cares so much about; making sure everyone in Navajo Nation has access to running water.

 

I visited Navajo Nation myself when I was in AZ and they were really good to me, so I’m thrilled to join Lana in supporting the Navajo Water Project.
