Girl really isn't a live-act and really should be selling these "Night Time My Time 9th Anniversary Green Socks (limited edition)". This Summer Festival campaign was the worst decision, but wouldn't be too shocked since they (she) probably needs some extra $$ to really finish ""the album"" (which was hinted to be "close to done" on these intervews) and extra stuff like Music Video(s) (which she also hinted as something she really thrives\wanted to make and then budget wasn't coming along).

Would be nice to have another single out before the end of the year but don't think that's happening. At least there's still time for the occasional "WINTER (knife knife)" post.

Streaming this masterpiece in the meanwhile

the way poor charli was doing her best to get xcx world out, had a full album campaign planned and a mastered album in her hands yet atlantic refused to let her put it out and everything leaked faster than a los angeles cumdump bussy after a 18 hour cum and go session... meanwhile the gaise are asking capitol to release an album that capitol doesn't even have (because it's not finished) and the few gaise who hacked for the newer batch of masochism sessions are refusing to xcx world her even though she deserves... something is so wrong with yall

It's absurd how much people keeps defending her and acting as if she already had the album finishes ages ago and Capitol is blocking the release.

Are people that blind?

yes people are that blind. they believe Sky Ferreira and her music are being held captive by Capitol Records. just an extremely delusional fanbase. it’s sort of sad to see. #FreeSkyFerreira and don’t forget to sign the change.org petition. we’re almost at 5,000 meaningless signatures!! :toofloppy:

The thing is, if the album is out of her control how is she fucking up those few things in her own hand like her festival gigs? I'm rooting for her and dont think its all on Capitol or all on her, but like, how are you that self sabotaging while trying to push this narrative?

if the album is allegedly almost finished then she doesn’t need the funding to make it so what reason could capitol possibly have for not wanting to see it be put out. how does not releasing an album that is apparently almost ready to be released serve them in in any way. what is she implying with this label interference narrative, that they‘re not interested in making money off of her and would rather torment her for sport? i’m sorry like :toofloppy:

she could say they won’t provide her the financial means to record/produce/mix/master it, this would at least make some sense especially considering they didn’t fund her first album either but saying this would mean she’d have to admit that she lied and that the album is not really done.

they’re not preventing her from performing because she booked a bunch of festival dates and was late to every one. they’re not neglecting to do promo because she booked a whole ass press tour regardless of the fact that there’s nothing to promote. she’s explained nothing as to what exactly capitol is doing to prohibit her from releasing anything and why they would stand to gain literally anything from doing so :toofloppy:

Thank you for sharing this. The literal rollercoaster I've experienced between getting excited and non-excited while reading the timeline is insane. I can't imagine that but stretched for over a decade (I discovered her towards 2016-17).

Reading it all compiled like that, it definitely looks like Sky has like 80% of the problem on her. I don't doubt the label has stopped some plans (single choices, mvs, gigs, songs in the tracklist, involvement of producers/songwriters etc) but, a whole decade to stop her from dropping 12 tracks? Ma'am that's impossible to believe.

The most annoying, besides the certainty of the several (This never happens) is the amount of times she said something was coming and of course was not coming, for any reason.
