Lana's albums as Game of Thrones seasons:

 

 

Season 1-2: AKA and Born to Die (I see season 1 up to Neds death as AKA, like an amazing introduction but because of budget, the production isn't quite as sleek. and the rest of s1 with season 2 is Born to Die with incredible moments like seeing the dragons for the first time, the first big battles, house of the undying, etc)

Season 3: Paradise (dives further into themes, gets darker. Still a very strong, if not stronger season/album. Arguably one of the favourites)

Season 4: Ultraviolence (has the best of what the show/Lana's music is about. Arguably the other favourite)

Season 5: Honeymoon (a bit slow but still QUALITY CONTENT and we really can't do without the progression and growth of this season/album)

Season 7: Lust for Life (seemed amazing at first, but then you kinda realise it was rushed and trying to get somewhere but never actually did successfully. Missed out on most of it's potential as well, as if some really strong fans could have written some of it better. Yet there was still hope that things could still go up hill.)

 

 

Nothing matches season 8 yet (or 6, I'm not sure, I don't wanna reach too far), and I'm 95% sure NFR won't do that, maybe it will be the season 8 we deserved.

I see Lana’s Albums as her varying degrees of depression

 

BTD: She’s happy & sad but overall happy with life

Paradise: shit hit the fan but she’s still ok

UV: Worst place emotionally you can be at

HM: She’s come far but still has her bad moments

LFL: She’s faking being ultra happy trying to make it

& is going up & down emotionally.

NFR: She’s finally got it under control & finally feels happy, but she also knows she will never be 100%.

This album feels like another look back at her life. Her most honest album with the truest reflection. She’s confronting what makes her sad. So she ends the album basically saying. Her hope may bring her so very low again, but she has to have hope for the future. If we include pre BTD we can see she achieved the happiness we wanted. Yet SNL derailed it, she had a different HOPE for her career. She wanted the praise & as we all know that’s not what she got.
