Actually I do have an issue with Mariah because when I met her she pulled my hair and carved her initials into my forehead, but her music is great! 

 

O just to be clear: I fkn hate Jennifer Lopez and think she's a great example of what happens when you give someone too much money that was made by stealing and mooching off others. Sorry if that hurts anyone's feelings but she just really gets under my skin with her holier-than-thou attitude.

See the way Sky performs - she doesn't need some cringe half-naked dancers, V-costumes and anything like that. Sweetener is an amazing pop album, Thank U Next and Positions are nowhere near as strong and sound incredibly basic in comparison

After reading this and all your replies, I’ve got to say that I find it very interesting that you only ever mention your dislike for women in the industry being sexual - never once said anything about a man or even eluded to it. Not trying to argue or anything, I’m just curious whether that was that intentional or is that some unconscious bias?

If “Lovespent” or “I’m Addicted” had been MDNA’s lead single—and she’d preformed it at the SuperBowl—she would’ve gotten a lot nicer reviews from the critics during that era and maybe Rebel Heart would’ve gotten the recognition it deserved. 
 

Also “Best Friend” was a standout and deserved to be on the standard version.

Gaga's attitude/personality since the A Star Is Born era has really been irritating to me; She seems so fake in every interview. I don't know if before she was able to hide it better by being this weird character but now when she seems so full of it

Still love her artistry and her songs tho but yeah...

I'm a modern day Madonna apologist in general. I think there's a lot of slander going around. RH was amazing, Madame X did something unique--she looks great (ok she's gone overboard with facetune before, but it looks like she's finally calmed down about it a bit, and her unedited pap pics look better than her insta pics in many cases), she's funny, and she's actually organically going TikTok viral, proving she's still relevant and talked about. 

 

Just please dear God don't give us a trap album.

Really unpopular opinion: I can feel how the aesthetics for COADF and some parts of The Reinvention Tour were so forced so she could be who Guy Ritchie wanted her to be.

There's an early "The Fame" era interview where she smugly muses about "well it might not be that I'm chasing it, but the art of blablabalbal" and it's like....yea....contributing to songs pushed by record labels to chart and get stuck in everybody's heads and being alright with that....methinks she DOES chase the fame. Also her interviews with Salma Hayek for HOG .....we get it, she's become one with the "method".....and don't forget the 99/100 people in a room.....other than usual artist shenanigans, she IS talented and has a nice voice and good piano skills , and of course good pop songs everybody will remember

she's put out some bangers but even tho i adore(d) her, when she claimed BTW would be "album of the decade" even tho it was 2011 and the album hadn't even come out yet...idk something kinda made me question her about that.

Leonard Cohen fucking sucks….his voice is unbearable and i can’t focus on what he singing about because that shit voice of his is extremely grating. good songwriter i guess but my word that voice is atrocious luv!!!
