It's probably the label who decides on release dates, not artist managers

I think that's true, but I also think artists/management have a tiny bit of input in that as well--although they cannot foresee delay in vinyl production and whatnot.

 no but tbh... I don't really want it to be like VB. I love the song, but sometimes it gets painfully too long!  

If it could be separated into two parts it would be great, especially if there's a notorious switch. That way you'd listen to whatever part of the songs fits your current mood, instead of just pressing skip whenever it gets too overwhelming for the moment
