I don’t know what to think of MV anymore…

I love, love, love many of the MV she did in the past (of course) and COCC’s is the best IMO… but I don’t think it was cheap making that one (and i dont think it got that many views on YT either). I know they solidify an era, but I kinda see them as a bonus now rather than a necessity. In the last four years, my faves from her have been COCC, FIILy/The Greatest… and Hope (probably because it was unexpected and was "released" during the pandemic and reflected the loneliness we were all living).

I’m not even sure if MV are viewed as good a promo as they used to be by the music industry: even big names don't make as many as they used to in previous eras and they dont seem as high-budget as they used to be (Beyonce, Taylor…).
