More so that conservatives got angry that a green m&m wasn't "sexy" enough because they gave her tennis shoes and claiming she is a symbol for the left

honestly the controversy surrounding the m&ms having a design change was stupid, there's so many other things to worry about

 

but at the same time, i feel like it's pathetic that the company now feels the need to retire them over this, the majority of people don't care at all about these changes, these mascots are iconic, it's a shame that they even feel the need to do this, it's such a strange world we live in today...
