When I first saw those bumble pics, I was surprised and really disgusted. This is so invasive and inappropriate to spread these photos around. It’s personal and I really hope Lana doesn’t find out

I doubt Lana is uncomfortable about her bumble pics being shared. At the end of the day it’s a free public app. If she was concerned about that she would have at least used a site that had some privacy settings. These are like pics she would post on insta filter and all.

Okay but at the end of the day, those photos weren’t meant to be seen by her own fans. It’s one of things that should’ve stayed private and not for the whole world to see. We didn’t know she had a bumble account up until a few days ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if some take time out of their day to find her and get matched with her. If you think about it, this could be really dangerous

So okay...you knew it was wrong to post the Bumble photos from Lana's profile, but did it anyway.... but then.... you realized how "insanely weird and invasive" it was to post anything from Lana's dating profile, so you took them down after a "split secind"....

 

Just own it. Be a fuckwad all you want, but just own it. There's nothing I dislike more then people who leak shit just to take it down because the person gained a conscious.

Do you really think Lana was so naive to think that none of her fans or just someone who recognizes her would see her profile and post it. She knows better than anyone that not all her fans are gays and girls. There are whole subreddits dedicated to posting OLD profiles and talking about them. It’s no more dangerous for a celeb to use OLD than a normal person. Do you just go on a date with the first person you match with? No. Most people with at least two brain cells to rub together know to do at least some basic screening beforehand. I think she would know the difference between a psychotic twink stan and a man that’s genuinely interested.

Lana has bigger problems to squash when she has stalker obsessed fans like dat1guitarguy on Instagram driving by Lana's house every single night and films it with no problem sharing the video footage of it to some people on IG DM's to prove it. There are times this man gets out of his car and stands in front of Lana's house just to see if he can see her. This same "fan" use to go to her church meetings just to stalk her. This is the man Sean confronted face to face at the Grammys pre-show trying to protect Lana. 

Sadder is the fact that several fans have warned Lana and Ben about that person and they found themselves being blocked by Lana. Sean may have had flaws but at least he stepped up to protect Lana. I don't understand why she blocked those fans warning her. I also don't understand why Ben does nothing. 

The Bumble photos being posted isn't the worst thing to worry about. A crazed stalker fan driving by her house everyday and sometimes getting out to stand in front of her house is something that's much more serious.

The person or people who went and found it and put it into the public domain are at fault. Now that it's in the public domain, I personally don't think it's wrong to share them, so I don't think that @Say Yes to Heaven and anyone else who posted the pics are at fault.

It's not other people's fault if people are creeps and invade her privacy, and as others have said, it's not as if they're intimate pics or anything. They're selfies, just like the ones she posts on her own IG all the time.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like that someone found it and did this, but I don't think there's anything wrong with looking at the pics or anything now that they're public domain (even though they shouldn't have been).

Just my two cents

ETA: Also, as others have pointed out, she could've used a private dating app or even a public one but not shown her face (it's quite easy). So I'm not saying that this is her fault, because it isn't, but ... she obviously wasn't that concerned about it or she wouldn't have done it. My cynical side pondered if perhaps this was a publicity stunt because her friend Jen works for Bumble and "LANA DEL REY USES BUMBLE JUST LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE DO" is going to be the headline if the media gets ahold of this, which isn't really a bad thing for Lala or Jen

I have no fixed opinion on her profile being shared . . . when you sign up for a dating app, one of the things you just have to accept is that people will see you on them - it's something I had to weigh up when I decided to use them again. It's awkward for friends, colleagues and people you see around your area of living (especially people you reject ). Some apps like Tinder even have a 'Share' option. So I don't think it's outrageous that people have shared them because her profile is public and can be found easily, but it is kind of a weird thing to do and validates my reservations to use apps, but it doesn't seem to be a concern Lana herself shares.
