Something that’s beautiful about this album’s that it almost feels like it doesn’t want you to dwell in it for too long. There’s an especially transitory feel to it, like a meaningful touch and go. Kinda like a good journal entry that gets you ready for the next day, or a good peaceful train ride to another city.

I’m actually traumatised from ‘kintsugi’ as a word now I was in commerce ages ago just before the album was released and we had to choose an anonymous name for a game and I chose kintsugi not knowing it’s pretty depressing and emo meaning and of course the fucking asains knew what it meat and we’re making a big deal out of it
