I absolutely agree, but I'm sure her and her managers are annoyed at the constant comments about lana under literally every single post they make  I think "two singles before Stagecoach and album mid next year" would have been a really good announcement, but truly there is no right answer

I wonder what Luke thought when he heard Lana describe the songs as half baked and said she wasn’t sure about them.

 

He said on Instagram that the songs they wrote were some of his most fulfilling creativity wise, which probably is true bc what we’ve heard of Henry is beautiful, but at the same time it’s such a stark difference in talking about the songs 

I’m a little confused about this album in general because the way she spoke about its progress for months sounded anything but confident. Up until that Vogue Italia interview (I believe it happened in August, though 111 says the album was mastered a month later), she didn’t seem sure where the album was headed.  
 

Back in February, when Lana first made that Lasso announcement, Jack sounded confident and super excited about the album. Now we have Luke also saying it was fulfilling from a creative standpoint.  Was she talking about the same album in those interviews where she didn’t sound confident? I don’t remember her ever sounding like that when asked about a new album. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t she usually seem more inspired and optimistic about the direction of her upcoming projects? Is she just overthinking it because she’s been working on this album for years? Or did she have a bunch of songs and end up reworking it, cutting some tracks and adding others in June?, July?, August, or September?

 

I’m not inside her head, but I’m sure the country trend might have contributed to her apprehension. Then again, it’s Lana. We can never predict where her head is at or what she’ll do next.

This was recently born out again by the new Father John Misty and Ruen Brothers albums.

she did this with the BB singles and with the NFR singles too. Remember Mariners and VB cover art? Totally different than the album cover…so I guess it’s to say there is so much that will come. I don’t think this is all final (except maybe the album title).

I'm still content w actual news, and I think this is the first time around from albums ago where I can just wait patiently. This album just feels like dessert considering how much richness she's given us w her past stuff so far. I love this feeling

100% it’s not random, she’s chose the QFTC date to prove a point; even if she knows the album won’t be dropped that day.. she’s made her ideas/intentions clear and has prompted the thought for people to connect the dots
