I think the reason why she's coming forward with it is because of the backlash she received after the whole "feminism doesn't interest me" mishap and I think she's trying to change her ways, not because she 100% cares about feminism, but because she's playing it safe with the fans, media, critics, pretty much everyone. I do, however, wonder what made her go political. She's seriously interested in the climate change and the war-related aspects of politics but...still.
