Listened without the video and was less distracted. I'm still getting ~Lorde cuz it sounds like No Better plus Ribs, but the verses are a bit ugly/I need to get used to them. I'll let her serve a generic chorus tho, I like it

As a big Lorde stan I'll give my honest op:

 

It's ok. I prefer it more than most of the stuff in the charts now. But I don't love it. I'm not getting that tingly feeling I did with PH. It does sound manufactured and bland in my op, or at least compared to her old stuff. I don't dislike it, but I only just like it. The lyrics aren't amazing either... and that's one of the things I crave from her.

 

But this is just one single. I'm not going to say she's 'sold-out' until I hear the whole album.
