People slept on this song, I repeat people slept on this song. Easily one of the best songs from Endless Summer Vacation.  The sound and the beats are so good. It's like a whole different style of dance music unlike some of the other songs from that album which were rather mainstream...

The album we deserved! Why are the demos much better than the final versions? The production on those feel like a warm hug… it still feels summer-y but with that vintage nostalgic feel only Miley can convey… like her 90s rock song covers but originals! 
 

Hands Of Time as a first single would have been great (maybe not as successful as Flowers but more authentic to her), followed by Taste Of My Own as the second summer single (more palatable for the GP as it’s more pop) and Jaded as the third and last single (we all know she loves to just give us 3 singles before discarding an era and she usually ends it with a power ballad). 
 

Maybe not as successful or commercial, but I think she’s at a point in her career where she can prioritize what she wants to put out rather than following trends and seeking validation from the GP. She has proven herself as an excellent performer and after all the scrutiny I think people are finally realizing how talented and likeable she can be… that’s why ESV was such a let down after a masterpiece like PH

It’s cute. I would choose it over Solar Power but not over Joanne. There’s some truly amazing moments on there, She’s Not Him, Malibu, Miss You So Much

 

but I think what aided in the poor aging of the album for me , was the fact it was a record meant to fix her relationship at the time, and every relationship narratively tied to the album has basically ended (with the exception of Dolly ofc) Liam, her Dad, etc.

 

so essentially she’s just made the entire album meaningless, since she went back to “the old old new miley”

 

title track is great as fuck too

 

 

but yeah like someone above said, with Dead Petz turning 10 this year, it’s hard for me to give any extra thought to Younger Now. Dead Petz is one of the greatest albums of our lifetimes. I truly hope we can get something special to celebrate it!!!

Dead Petz LP is needed, this album is so underrated amongst general public. This whole album deserved the same amount of attention which Bangerz and Endless Summer Vacation had. Her best one with Plastic Hearts. Cyrus Skies is her best song imo. Fucking phenomenal.
