Music does age. It all depends on the production, the style and its execution, the mastering, the mixing.

 

Music can sound from retro (our dear LDR) to old-fashioned to even dated and obsolete. 

 

It can sound modern and on-trend too.

 

And obviously can sound forward-thinking, futuristic, goundbreaking, innovative and fresh.

Honestly I hated most of Joanne when it first came out and only recently started enjoying and appreciating it fully so anything was a step up from that for me lol but I haven’t really stanned Gaga since the end of Artpop era into c2c

 

As for Chromatica I think it’s a wonderful return to form for her minus a couple bad production choices (free woman, Babylon) and there’s a couple of tracks that could’ve been left off for redundancy (1000 doves especially)

At least Yo Ann had a cute lyrical content. It's one of her worst albums but I still appreciate it

i agree, swish swish was the first thing that came on my mind after hearing that intro. both songs have the same dated deep house beat but you'll get used to it, and it's not as noticeable towards the end of the song.
