Bob Leone on "So Legit" (Again)

Contrary to the thousands of tweets & blogs speculating about why So Legit was written, Lana Del Rey did not write this song because I chose to manage Lady Gaga instead of Lana. I would not have had a problem with managing both artists. In fact, I am currently managing two artists. The truth is that I did not choose to manage Gaga instead of Lana. As most fans of these two remarkable artists know is that I met Lana in January 2006, two months before I became Gaga's manager in March of that year. I was Lana's friend and her mentor at that time and we both agreed that she did not need a manager at that time as she was still developing as an artist. So despite what is written by people who know nothing about what actually happened, So Legit has absolutely nothing to do with my becoming Lady Gaga's manager. Lastly, to those of you who believe that some of the lyrics in So Legit refer to me, you couldn't be more wrong. Lana and I have always had a great relationship. Just because a lot of people think something is true, that doesn't mean it is true." -- Bob Leone, September 25, 2013

Basically, now that he's living with his mother ("taking care of her") and is in money trouble he's accepting every interview he can get on his hands where they pay him $10 for each mentioning of Lana in Gaga related context and vice versa? I am kidding, of course, but well... :troll:

He makes it sounds like Lana has given him an in-depth word-for-word analysis and interpretation of her own song lyrics and vividly discussed each and every single reference made to other people. I doubt it, but what do I know.  :oic:

Mr Leone, if you're reading this: good luck with managing those two new artists. Hopefully your efforts work out as flawlessly as your former client Viola whom you described as the next international pop superstar. We're anxiously awaiting Viola Boards. Don't you see a pattern? All artists you used to manage but then kind of stopped managing only took off after. Anyways, good luck and maybe it's time to write a tell all book. And leak those unreleased (Lana and) Gaga demo tapes that you tried selling but were then bought back by Gaga herself. Hopefully you saved music files in at least 320kbit/s quality. You better did. Goodbye now, for real.   :flutter:

Man, I'm on a roll today. :toofunny:

SO LEGIT: shows that Gaga struggled and Lana is not a doormat = good for both of them

Leone is in for a couple of U$1 dollar bill's . Not even in for the U$100, in other words he is not royal just like Lorde. Let's get over it Leone you fucked up with 2 successful artists they should write together a song about you and title it BS

you're so legit should became a slang with deep meaning tbh

apparently this is the source? http://www.gagafrontrow.net/

well tell us what it is about then, bob

Yes, that's the website from Belgian born sociologist Mathieu Deflem whose research subject is Gaga among other topics. He's talked to Leone a couple of times before that. What I personally find hilarious is that mega manager Bob Leone reached out to a Gaga fan site himself. Professional.
