mkultraviolence 5,832 Posted May 23, 2020 omg I'm so excited for a new era! i really hope it isn't named white hot forever though. and if would be amazing if she goes back to her UV album vocals instead of the talk-singing she does on NFR!

Pico Ocean Boulevard 41,211 Posted May 23, 2020 For a few seconds I thought that it is a new snippet and I was like these strings and old Hollywood vibes but then I realized it is not and like aah what is happening like uaah the last few days were wild 2 Quote "Swan Song. Dark Angel 202,788 Posted May 23, 2020 the clip she posted was beautiful and surf noir... maybe yosemite will make it into this album... but let's not get ahead of ourselves... 5 Quote 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒷𝑜𝒶𝓇𝒹𝓌𝒶𝓁𝓀 𝓆𝓊𝑒𝑒𝓃𝓈 𝓇𝑜𝓁𝓁 𝒹𝒾𝒸𝑒 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒶𝓇𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓁𝓈 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓅𝒾𝓃𝓀 𝓈𝓁𝒾𝓅𝓈 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝑜𝓊𝓁𝓈 𝑜𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒹𝑒𝓅𝒶𝓇𝓉𝑒𝒹
FredRed 4,857 Posted May 23, 2020 im excited if she doesn't go on any more rants I'm not challenging you but I have come to the conclusion this is how Lana is. Maybe tone deaf but more in line with clueless about what results her actions will get. Just like the President who can't stop tweeting no matter how much his inner circle tries to tone him down. I don't think it's an intellectual understanding it may just be wiring. She reacts/responds and has no ability to think it through. My point is that unfortunately this is not the end. Maybe of this episode but I'm sure we'll all be gathered around this campfire at least once again in the next year or so. I'm with you though, I HOPE she doesn't go on any more rants.

Doll Harlow 12,367 Posted May 23, 2020 even though her parents may have been well off it is so obvious they weren't actively supporting her financially?? girl lived in a trailer truck trying to make ends meet like. she is not a kardashian I think she lived in the trailer for the AKA Lizzy Grant aesthetic tbh 8 Quote You call me lavender, you call me sunshine. Serene Queen 4,786 Posted May 23, 2020 I think she lived in the trailer for the AKA Lizzy Grant aesthetic tbh I will say, though, very few people from the socioeconomic class she was raised in would ever live in a trailer voluntarily. This isn’t a dig at trailers in any way, I just doubt she would do it by choice, since she was accustomed to large houses, etc. 10 Quote Hell, I Suppose if You Stick Around Long Enough, They Have to Say Something Nice About You

Be Free 6,635 Posted May 23, 2020 I think she lived in the trailer for the AKA Lizzy Grant aesthetic tbh Definitely! I remember the husband of woman that worked at 5 Points Records posting on reddit that he remembered her and stuff, and then someone asked about the trailer park and he replied that she used to go there to write but actually lived with her boyfriend.
Kisum 19 Posted May 23, 2020 This is what I posted last night on IG... I've read a lot of comments since. Many good points made. But too much is way off topic. I stand by my initial reaction. Especially now, after seeing the pic Lana posted of Sean Connery and Claudine Auger from Thunderball and the video of From Here to Eternity. Hee essays don't speak as clearly as her art, but I'm on the edge of my seat to see where this goes next... I would bet heavily that she'll come out stronger than ever... The art is simply too powerful and successful for anyone to tear down.
SweetHenny 14,579 Posted May 23, 2020 Wow, it took me a lot of time and determination to catch up with this thread and read the 60 pages I've missed. My eyes are literally non-existent at this point. But that was probably the most interesting novel I've read (don't want a sequel tho)
