So I used to have a theory that all the title songs would start with epic/cinematic strings (Born to Die,  Ultraviolence,  Honeymoon)  but Lust for Life ruined it

 

This is why I always start at 13 Beaches when I listen to the full record.  Not sorry.

 

I think the pattern is more like every other album starting with strings in the opener. 

 

BTD: BTD, strings intro

UV: Cruel World, guitar intro

HM: HM, strings intro

LFL: Love, guitar intro

 

Which means.... next album may have strings as the intro

I used to think LFL is my fav Lana album, but after relistening to lona's other albums, the cohesive-ness of Honeymoon and Ultraviolence is making me rethink that. I love how you can listen to both the albums without skipping any song, but unfortunately lust for life includes white mustang and in my feelings, I feel like I might've overplayed those songs or something idk but I don't like them as much as I used to, it might be because the beats get excessive after groupie love and they ruin white mustang because the two don't go together. But lfl does include some of Lana's best tracks in her discography like heroin, get free and cherry.

I wish I could say the same for the others, but UV has 'Flipside' & Honeymoon has like 3 boring songs (& you know who they are).

 

I like all the songs from Lust For Life excluding 'Summer Bummer', 'Love' & 'Change' (personal taste.. please don't come for me)

Don’t get me wrong, I love both of them (specially fine china) but they sound so unfinished IMO, flipside sounds more polished but it doesn’t have that Ultraviolence vibe to it, same w every track of the bonus side of ultraviolence except black beauty (this masterpiece :’))

Omg, I think I've seen this before? It's really good, but I'd skip the hitting on the high hats (cymbals? I'm not good with drum terms lol). Keep it a more of a Guns And Roses (the song) vibe to it.
