Okay i just listened to Lust for Life again and... wow. It has so much variety, it has bops, ballads, country ballads, collabs, rap. It's actually so good tbh. AKA, Born to Die and Lust for Life have the best album closers ever :flutter: :flutter:

UK store only good for UK

doesn't work in US they block it

Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp

Heroin alone ate Ultraviolence and then shit it out straight into the Hudson River where it now resides at the bottom waiting for a rescue.

Heroin is literally just like one of her Untouchable 5 songs, it's cute but very lacking in production, It doesn't go anywhere particularly amazing. There's no hook. UV has such powerful production and it's packed with the best songs she's ever made, look at Cruel World, SOC, WC, Old Money, MPG, BB, Black Beauty, Flipside, Ultraviolence. All top notch songs. LFL is great but it can't even compare to the power that is the one and ONLY godly UV

Off topic but I played Bad Disease to this new guy I met (we were talking about Lana) and he asked if we can find sirens on YouTube. I said only pitched but sent him the songs (spreading the gospel). We were supposed to go out but he's falling asleep on the couch. Oh well, not everyone is ready for the light

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Some of these songs on LFL would sound good as hell in a club (Groupie Love, World at War). Also, I love how God Bless America fades darkly into World at War.
