I’m new so I know nothing of any previous dramas here but THIS KIND OF SLEUTHING IS WHAT I CAME HERE FOR. I’m not here for petty bullshit. I want information on this album, and Norman Fucking Rockwell’s granddaughter confirming (on her Twitter) that the albums delay has nothing to do with the name is the most solid piece of information we’ve had in forever so I’m pleased to see it.

So if you’re not proud of teasing shit why do you even do it? Why not leak the entire track instead of trying to get the gays to beg for something from you? If you know info or have tracks that you’d like to share, share the FULL THING instead of just parts just to turn around and say “Oh I’m not proud of doing that, I’m sorry forgive me”

Am I the only one who still doesn't quite get why she seems to insist on releasing the book before/alongside the album? What's stopping her from releasing NFR, and then a few months later the poetry book? If anything, I think she could make more money by giving the fans a little time to "breathe" (as in, save money) between buying 230482 different versions of the album (CD, vinyl, cassette, boxset etc.) and purchasing the book, especially if she makes some more expensive versions (hardcover? signed?) and perhaps even an audiobook available too. Especially an audiobook, read by Lana herself, would be amazing! Lily Allen, for example, did that with her book and it made it so much more personal to actually hear her tell her story.

So Jack Antonoff has been producing for Lana for well over a year at this point and has recently just started to work with the GREAT Kevin Abstract but Kevin's album dropped first? with a whole ass nother record coming out next fucking week?

if you're gonna harass the label (which i am all for), what about doing it under the assumption that they've shelved NFR (regardless of the truth)? it's easy to ignore open-ended questions, but if you put the blame directly on them and the onus on them to prove otherwise, i feel like there's a better chance of getting an answer. and if it's really all lana being lazy, i'm sure they'd want to clear their name...just a thought.

I don’t think Interscope is delaying this album. If they were shelving NFR because they thought it was “boring” or holding it hostage until Lana reworked songs they disapproved of, I think someone on Lana’s team would leak this to the media to drum up support for her.
I think the album is 100% complete and ready to go. All that’s holding it up is the book of poems. Just like Lana said, she wants to release the poems then NFR will come. It’s probably taking her longer than she realized to put this book together hence the early singles. Bitch jumped the gun.
I think her “who knows” tweet regarding when the album is coming was her just being cheeky. The book has to be completed (bound and printed) within the next month or two. I’m guessing (please don’t let this be fan fiction) she and her team have a few dates in mind that could work soon after the book is released. And she doesn’t want to release the date on the offchance printing of the book is delayed and then NFR is delayed (even more publicly).

Oh we definitely should, and I definitely will. What are we but a sum of our thoughts, beliefs and decisions? And religion might be something private to you, just like it is to me, but it doesn't seem to be that way to a culty megachurch like Hillsong and the sheep that attend it. I cannot find it in me to respect pedophilia, misogyny, militant homophobia, mind control, and those who support (or accept) these things.

its always good to respect others beliefs but i think there should be a certain criticizing taking place when one starts to blame their homophobia on a dusty book and basically any other type of bigotry religion can promote

She's in LA, not some one horse town in bumfuck Mississippi. She could easily find a liberal, progressive, LGBTQ-friendy Christian church to attend. She has NO excuse besides being a dumbass.
