Yeah we expected her to do NFR songs on the NFR Tour....

People twice her age are on stage for 2 hours, and actually put effort into their shows. She’s so full of shit when she acts like some vagabond poet who yearns for the tour lyfe with her babiez. Loves her tour lyfe babiez money, that’s about it.

She sounded amazing but I’m tired of White Mustang, Pretty When You Cry, Off to the Races, and Blue Jeans. Why couldn’t she do more from the new album

What’s tragic is acts who focus on a more physically taxing concert (you know the ones, Madonna, Britney, etc) are on stage far longer than Ms. Del Rey, and make many changes to their setlists. Hell, even bands like RHCP where Kiedis jumps around the fucking stage at age 56 spend 1.5 hours up there, changing the setlist around here and there almost every date.

The fact that Lana’s go to excuse is “the band doesn’t know that song yet!!!1” is fucking pathetic to say the least. That’s their job, and I’m pretty sure they don’t find much creative pleasure playing along to the same shit over and over again.

get rid of White Mustang, Cherry, Pretty When You Cry for F*** It I Love You, The Greatest, and Love Song and even Happiness is a butterfly

there's really no need for OTTR when Venice B*** exists so replace OTTR with Cinnamon Girl sounds like a great idea.

then we will have a real NFR tour instead of a revamped LA TO THE MOON tour aka revamped festival tour

also she loves that tour lyfe so much and always talk a big game about loving touring in interviews... Girl, you're on stage for an hour at most, you perform the same overlplayed songs you've been singing for eight years AND you take selfies with the same five creepy fans that follow you everywhere. That's all there is. I'm glad she didn't come near me this time around, I just saved money for acts that are actually worth spending money on! Love you Lana, but after being a fan for quite some time now, the truth is: your concerts ain't it.

Not you wanting her to cut TNC off when it's the first and probably last time she'll ever perform it

my problem with this setlist drama - charli hates touring. its a known fact. THATS WHY SHE NEVER DOES IT, @people who are complaining that they didnt see her perform N1A/Pop2. her ass cancelled like 4 shows i was supposed to go to in 2015 and then she cancelled that whole ass tour with bleachers bc she was LITERALLY depressed ???? so why are we making her feel bad for a setlist that we should already be GRATEFUL to be hearing any of....

This might be an unpopular take but... I actually feel like on the whole women have been pushed out many pop spaces (esp alt pop) despite being the main cohort who have historically (and contemporarily) supported the pop music industry and its artists. Sometimes I feel like women (regardless of sexual orientation) get made fun of for liking the same pop music that gay men do because it's "basic" when we like it or whatever. At a gathering recently a friend of a friend told me Charli XCX is "for gay men only" and while he sort of meant it as a joke I felt like it was quite revealing of the kind of culture women in pop spaces experience. I've heard similar sentiments from PC music fans too. While many current pop acts undeniably have huge gay male fanbases, I don't think that should be at the cost of women getting to enjoy those spaces too. I guess it just frustrates me a bit because pop music has traditionally been marketed towards women, who became the butt of jokes about it being lowbrow, only for it to be later claimed by gay culture and then become way less lowbrow and way more cool. Basically misogyny in pop is wearing me down

I cannot believe people were out there criticizing her new setlist, promoting her NEW album!!

Do these people not know how these tours/concerts work?? Charli has so much released material, you’re never going to hear everything you want to hear anymore. It’s just the truth of the matter. I went to a concert last night, one of my all time favorites, but they had to cut so many fan-favorites for newer stuff, and there’s only so much time. Did I hear everything I wanted? No. But was it a badass show?? Absolutely yes!

There’s a definite entitlement problem in this fanbase, sorry but it’s just a fact. I get that everyone loves Charli and her music and wants to see her succeed and whatnot, but a setlist is totally different. There’s a time and place for constructive criticism. This is not it. With the leaks and releasing fan-favorite music for example, there’s at least an argument there, where there’s a potential further opportunity to support the artist... but a setlist?

No... the setlist itself means nothing for her bottom line. You bought your ticket, you go and enjoy the show. It’s her gig...

    enough with gno ffs.
unpopular fact: it's so overrated cause it was produced by sophie and was part of xcxworld, but it's actually pretty meh compared to most 2016-2018 songs

whyyy does she use a loud backing track though.. i mean we know she can sing live when she tries, so is it just laziness or a fear of fucking up?

    Not mad, just disappointed.

For example, I feel that there is really no excuse for not singing Bartender in its entirety. I could understand if the song had really high notes or something, but it doesn't. I could understand if she was dancing, but she wasn't. It was the second song on the setlist, so fatigue shouldn't be a problem. So ... what is the justification for it?

I can sing that song without problems, so I know she can. It's really difficult to find a reason for it other than laziness. She's a singer. She needs to sing. As far as I'm concerned, asking people to pay several hundred dollars to listen to you sing only half the time isn't good enough. Maybe my standards are too high? I don't know.

The Break Up With Your Girlfriend live show contained pre recorded vocal takes recorded in a studio - indicating a strong possibility of a studio version of this cover to exist

Lana's taste is questionable, we already knew that (see the ugly sandals she wore for nearly every candid outfit like last year or so)

The California wildfires in the background on the cover are exactly why this is gonna be a damn masterpiece of an album and praised everywhere.

honestly this board can be sf annoying. is2g some people are more into whining than into lana herself. wait until aug 30, listen to the fucking album, and if you still hate all of it by then - the sign out button is on the upper right corner.

following my own advice & taking a break from this shithole now.
