I knew it!! I really love this blue colour for NFR. An intense ocean blue, slightly translucent, love it!! It represents the album way better than a green or a pink.

In my opinion, you were able to encapsulate this era’s visuals with that cover. I really love it. And the LFL cover... Lana needs us - the lipsters- to design her stuff

I listened to the snippets and I like them????? cry baby was good 6/10 and this project feels like it will top her previous. ‘The Principal’, ‘Nurse’s Office’ and ‘Lunchbox friends’ sounds good!

I think the VINYL colour will be a clear light yellow: #FFFFE0 or clear Lemon Chiffon #FFFACD.

I know some of you love to shit on Chuck but the dynamic composition of the cover pic itself and the poses, Lana breaking 4th wall and him staring blatantly... It just immediately invites you over to tell a story regardless of typography or lack thereof it's so incredibly well done!! The color palette of the pic is nice and it has the perfect contrast and I can't blame Lana for feeling comfortable with Chuck. This cover could've felt forced if shot by anyone else and the whole cover concept may have been tampered with if it was anyone else. I feel like Chuck is 100% open to Lana's ideas and it's nice although I literally have no proper facts to back it up.
 
I personally think they could've brainstormed more over the typography (not the concept itself but placement, kerning & letter stretching) but I couldn't have imagined a better cover. It's like all this time of us shitting over matcha drinking insta baddie LA Lana finally makes some grotesque sense.

Regarding the cover, I think a lot of stuff you don't like/understand is deliberate. For instance, the guy: that's part of the concept, him being dull and Nicholson's son. She's having this classic 60s white bourgeoisie moment (ala National Anthem), but with a modern twist : she stands next to the offspring of a great golden star, she wears a baddie outfit rather than a 60s hairdo. California is burning in the background. She occupies the stage like a man would in a vintage, patriarcal work : in the center, holding her man in a commanding fashion, at the helm like a leader. She's alluding to her aesthetic (a modern take on American archetypes) and this record's project : a Rockwellian illustration of her time through portraits, iconic cultural representations and a mishmash of images. That's actually one of her most coherent project coverwise.
