Fuck yeah, give it to me
This is Kevin, what I truly want
-Gods and Monsters (I don't really know how I heard that one)

    Gin taught me that
    -Ultraviolence

    Baby stoppin at 7-eleven
There in his white Pontiac, Kevin
-Diet Mountain Dew (apparently I have some sorta strange affinity for Kevin)

Put your white towel sheets on and follow me
    -Swan Song

There is violence in your eyes
    -Honeymoon

And to finish off, something close to what somebody else stated previously
    Pornless confusion
    -Hope Is A Dangerous Thing

Hope you enjoyed reading my (very) unfortunate mishearings of Lana's gorgeous lyrics

I always hear "porn and confusion" instead of "born of confusion" in Hope (...)

Her old twitter is so iconic. I wish she still regularly tweeted like she did in '09

At first I thought this article was four years old and that you want to remember us how fast times flies and then I realized that they wrote about Sean and the cancelled europe leg. Her famous song "It's like I told you Honey", Sean Larkin, the cancelled Europe leg and a video clip from a four year old show. What a mess!

”Lana Del Rey's fans have shared a nice video clip that features the singer performing her song ‘It's like I told you, honey’”

Wanted to bring this back up bc another thread reminded me of this - when I met Lana after her show in Wichita in November, one of the girls waiting out with me was celebrating her 18th birthday, and I was telling her the first thing I did when I was 18 (buy something off the television.) When Lana came out to meet everyone and came to our group, the birthday girl asked Lana if she remembered the first thing she did when she was 18 - she did, told us it was going up to Canada with friends to get her first legal drink (a glass of champagne) and said she got her first tattoo soon after & pointed to her M tattoo. (I really regret not asking what it meant in that moment, I didn’t even think about it until the conversation had already changed.) But based on that, that would’ve meant she got her tattoo in 2003, but it looks like photo evidence isn’t supporting that? & perhaps she mistook her 18th birthday for her 21st birthday regarding when she got her tattoo in her story to us, as getting it done for her 21st in 2006 would match to her claim in the interview you mentioned, but again, it doesn’t appear to be there in any photographs prior to 2008 x

I just realised that HIAB is the follow up to Love song.
“In the backseat I’m your baby, we go fast” > “Don’t call me a taxi, sitting in your sweatshirt, crying in the backseat”. In Love song, they’re driving and in love but in HIAB, it is implied that the guy stopped the car to call a taxi for her because their relationship is falling apart and he doesn’t feel the same anymore so he doesn’t want to keep driving with her, while she’s still in the backseat, where she used to be from the beginning of their relation.
Also the line “do you want me or do you not? I heard one thing (in Love song), now I’m hearing another” is another indicator that both songs could be linked

her putting INHA on M5 makes sense tbh. She was gonna rework it either way so why not just put it on the album she’s working on rn.

I am excited to see her explore femininity through a more positive lens. Hopefully her work with lots of women will mean that she experiments more with production and creates a more unique sound. My best case scenario is that it's ready for late summer and we can get lots of pretty flower visuals.

I remember that someone in the NFR! Pre release thread wished that the title track will be a 6 minute psychedelic track with a lot of E-Guitars...well it turned out that the title track (NFR) is far away from this wish. But my wish is that the title track of WHF/LDR 7 will be turn out as a 6 minute psychedelic song with a lot of E-Guitars

Rememer during NFR pre-release people used to shit on Rick Nowels and worship Jack Antonoff? (me included and I am ashamed by that now  ). The clownery luvs
On topic: I do not expect the album this year for sure. I want a spring album finally for a change so I pray for spring 2021 (first single - January 2021)

I feel you. I really like CAS but their songs LITERALLY always end up sounding the same. Often the production starts out very promising but then the vocal melody, the tempo and the flow of the song will end up being identical to every other CAS song.

Yep, the poetry book was meant to come out before NFR but that didn't pan out. I'm feeling that the poetry book will come out maybe april or may, and WHF either very very late summer this year or summer 2021. But that's just a guess

It was just a thought....like the only songs from Rick were older songs she decided to put on this alboom. The original Next Best American Record was made in 2016, Bartender is most-likely from 2017/before she met Jack Antonoff and Happiness is a Butterfly (at least a demo version of the song) is from early 2018. And the NFR! Alboom trailer says that this record is produced by Jack Antonoff  and it  mentioned no other producers which worked on a few songs on NFR! , but Jack Antonoff is the main producer so I think that's why his name is written there. Lana and Jack are good friends and I think Lana feels very comfortable with Jack, which is good for her. When she had the idea for Looking for America she went to Jack Antonoff and recorded this song with him. And if I remember correctly somebody said on this forum that Lana was in Jacks Studio in January. There is no proof that Rick will not be  involved in WHF/LDR 7 but I have more like a feeling  that he is not involved...  but it would be great if he would be involved on LDR 7 !! I miss daddy nowels as well.... And I hope Lana talked or met Dan Auerbach on the grammys because their seats were pretty close to each other and I wouldn't  mind if he would jump on  a few songs
