The lyrics to this song are so trash and try hard socially aware, the basic white girl nature of this song is just hitting me now in full force
 
Meanwhile, people were expecting brooklyn baby 2, this is even more disappointing than the Freak MV

All I'm hoping for is that she gets back in touch with Dan again for LDR6 to make some magic again or even better yet a brand new producer that she hasn't worked with. Also can she please work with Justin Parker again too.
 
It's quite clear and apprent now that she needs to ditch Rick. He's a goddamn 'yes' man who doesn't give the vital push that Lana obviously needs in her music.

She is definitely aiming to reach a more mainstream audience. Even her more pop music songs from back then (Resistance, EMGHW, etc.) have this "Lana magic" despite being "generic".
 
I'd never expect to not crave one of her title tracks. BTD, UV and HM are beautiful masterpieces.
