hey everyone! we're back! the new update is so cool but i'll admit it will take a lot to get used to. but i'm glad we're back because i love this community so much.
about that yes to heaven snippet, that's totally fake. it sounds like camilla cabello is singing it. 

the "friends" thing is gone, now it's followers correct? mine is empty either way, will they come back or did it reset back to 0 for everyone? also thank you so much for doing this!!! i'm glad the updates went well

Yes! All "friends" have been removed (although we're all still friends at heart!) and has now been replaced with Followers. You can follow other users to stay up to date with their activity  x

Hi everyone,
The site is back online! I apologise for the time it took, which was much longer than I expected! Thank g-d Lana didn’t announce anything while it was happening..
Aside from the time it took, the update went quite well. It was a smooth process all around, no real errors, it just took some time! We’re also now on a more stable server (which was the core reason for this whole update) so crashes should happen way less frequently during high traffic times.
 
& as you can see, we look different!
 
As stated in the original site update thread, don’t worry, all content that has ever been posted still remains.
The site is still indexing, so if you don’t see some older posts right away, don’t worry, they’re just still rebuilding.
 
I originally expected that we were going to be themeless for a bit and things were going to look quite plain for a while, but I was able to (somewhat) import the previous Lust for Life theme for both desktop and mobile; however since it wasn’t designed for these new formats, it is a bit disjointed and messy. I did try to fix it to fit the best that I could though. I apologise for that, but don’t worry, we’ll have some new themes coming that will be better designed for this new format.
 
Essentially, this is just the first draft of LanaBoards 2.0. I probably could have spent some more time perfecting a few things, but I wanted to bring the site back to you all as soon as it was possible since we were offline for so long! I’ll probably continue to tweak things in the background here and there, but again, once the new themes are designed and brought in, that’s when the new version of the site will live up to its fullest potential. Some new functionality features are also to come.
 
So, take some time to poke around & explore the new layout! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please leave them below & I’ll answer everything the best that I can. (I’m still learning too!)
 
Two important things to note:
Usernames & Display Names have been merged. Whatever was your last known Display Name is now your Username, and to my knowledge, is now the Username you will use to sign in with. It also appears that whenever you change your Display Name your Username will change as well, and will sign in with the new one. (May be wrong about this, correct me if so, this is just what I’ve gathered to understand so far.)
Please check your signatures! Some may have glitched during the update, so please adjust them if needed/desired!

I accidentally slept in past the time frame where I intended to do the update I apologise.
So this is your official announcement that in about four hours, roughly at 10AM EST, the site will be pulled offline for the site software update!
The site will be offline for a couple of hours. When we come back, it will not be the finished project in the sense that we will be themeless since I can’t design one until the update is complete, but I want to bring the site back online for you all as soon as the update is complete. So you all will be able to see the new layout of the site and the design will be very simple, but I plan for a theme to be brought to you all during next week!

It looks like we'll be set to finally do the site software update and pull the site offline tonight anywhere from 10pm - into 6am tomorrow [EST] depending on when everything is set. (This doesn't mean we're going to be offline for the entirety of those 8 hours, it just means that anywhere within that timeframe you can expect for LanaBoards to be pulled offline while the update takes place. The update should only take a couple of hours)
I'll keep you guys updated here before we pull the site offline or if anything changes.
I'm bursting with both nerves & excitement! It's finally happening!

I hope after this record she will stop trying to appease people and go back to making controversial or provocative music again, it’s really where she shines. any alt/indie pop girl could’ve done cinnamon girl, but only lana can make ultraviolence

Well we know according to her poetry that she is bad at actually reading the direction of the winds of change that are coming SOON.  

You know she's delaying the album to July 2021 because the vibe is off for her and her baddie instagram friends. 

This album better fucking come out September 5th because idk if we can handle any more chaos that may ensue in this thread (although it was fucking fun catching up jskdjksjis i'm still rolling)

It’s definitely a skirt and cardigan set, the skirt just has a deep waist band and the zipper is what’s making me think it’s vintage athletic or just athletic inspired clothes. It still looks like a tennis outfit to me
