  1. OMFG. PETITION FOR NIGHTMARE BOY TO MAKE "FOR V PART 2" ON MY BIRTHDAY.
  2. So I just discovered these two beauties from Russian Red: "Loving Strangers" is a cover, but it's so beautiful. "Upset" is absolutely amazing, though, I am in love with the lyrics so much, the whole song is perfect but the first two minutes are everything~ UPSET: https://soundcloud.com/sakuapril/russian-red-upset LOVING STRANGERS: https://soundcloud.com/umutdogukankanac/loving-strangers-russian-red And apparently she has a third album coming out early this year, which I'm so fucking excited for. <3
  3. Seriously, though, I actually really fancy it. Just makes me think of a someone coming to a sense of "contentment," they're not down in the dumps, they're not over the moon; they're just "all right." Can't complain, can't brag. Or in contexts like here, there's just that sweet optimism, all the while making sure to keep feet grounded as to not have too much hope for a quick recovery from a negative experience. It's not going to be perfect, and it's not going to be amazing anytime soon, but things will get all right, it's just the beginning. I don't know, these May Jailer tracks are just really scrambling my brain up right meow. There's a je ne sais quoi about them that is just really something. I don't know if it's the articulation, the expression, or just that a lot of the lyrics hit home, but damn, yes.
  4. I'm certain it's going to stay spiritual, I think Lana just found a darker muse that she identified with at some point after she first mentioned there being an upcoming record. As long as it's Indie/Alternative style, I can fucks with "almost unlistenable and wrong." Her description is making me think of Wye Oak's style, honestly. It's chaotic and scattered, and sounds so out-of-place at first, but if you listen closely to it, it sounds so right in its catastrophically beautiful composition. I just don't want extreme cinematic themes with ULTRAVIOLENCE, Lana has too much versatility to not go in a different direction with this album.
  5. Absolutely beautiful; admittedly, I am looking forward to seeing remixes so that I have more versions to hoop to. Such an ethereal track. Well done, Disney, well done.
  6. Lately I've been hoping that TOSTB, Hollywood's Dead, Starry Eyed, Afraid (), I Don't Wanna Go and You & Me make an appearance in ULTRAVIOLENCE. Totally unlikely, but I just always wondered—with 200+ unreleased tracks, I don't know how there weren't more albums—200+ tracks that just kinda didn't go anywhere really. What's more, an easy 85-90% of them are pure gems. Lana's gotten a lot of exposure on Long Island the past year or so, and while most of them don't know anything beyond BTD, PARADISE and in rarer cases, AKALG, there are a handful that listen to many of the unreleased tracks. If I remember from one of the interviews where the interviewer mentions "Puppy Love," I think it's apparent that Lana acknowledges that they appealed to many fans. So I don't think we've seen the last of them in Lana's discography. I do think that there are tracks and concepts that she's done and while they may not have gotten EPs or a slot in a roster for an album, I think Lana's just been biding her time for the right opportunity to combine them into the right project. I JUST WANT SOMETHING ALREADY, I REALLY WANT TO GO INTO SPRING WITH A NEW SINGLE. OH MOTHER DEL-REYDIANT, FORGIVE MY GLUTTONOUS GREED.
  7. I am going to fucking throw up. They should've stopped after KidzBop 5. The worst of my youth is fucking haunting me.
  8. How many times should I post this on Lana's page to get her to notice?

    Awesome, baby! Thank you!
  10. 2014 is going to be a great year for Lana regardless of this, she's going to have an awesome show at Coachella (still sad tickets sold out,) and she has a whole eleven months to drive everyone wild. I've noticed a lot more of my friends and acquaintances getting more into Lana, all she needs is to release a single or two soon and ULTRAVIOLENCE is going to suck the American audience back in tenfold.

"This content doesn't seem to be working. Please try again later." I have yet to hear the song in full. FUCK. Also, if it hasn't been mentioned already, has anyone checked out FTSE's remix of WoT? There isn't as much of MØ's vocals on the track, just the first verse and the chorus, but FTSE still keeps some of the elements of the original track while bringing about a very solemn-and-mellow element to the track. I'd say it beats the original, but the sounds are fairly incomparable. I personally really enjoy FTSE's verses. "Smile like you mean it, babe, or don't smile at all. Say it like you mean it, if it makes you feel better at all."
  12. She says "Like you always did when we was," it's like the "ain't" of past-tenses; it's substandard English, and pretty much incorrect, but depending on where you go, you may hear it more/less often. I never cared for it, more-so for the way the opening's sung, but it's definitely cute. Paris is so adorable, I'm in love with it otherwise.
  13. I bet cake @@trayertrash has written Stoop Kid fan-fiction.
  14. You know, I didn't know what to think of her at first, but I really love "Habits" and "Out of Mind," there's just something smooth about Tove. And OoM is absolutely awesome. I'm actually surprised she didn't go viral, especially with that song. That chorus is fucking dopesick. Totally digging this chick.
  15. I don't mean to brag and bluster, but... HE CALLED ME "V." If he ever does such a cover, I might die and cry (in that exact order.) I am so fucking stoked for his album. He sets such an eerie and simple atmosphere with his music. I love to just sit outside, smoke a cigarette and brood with Barrie through his music. He is so dark and sad, yet, has this way of laughing at his own bitterness with lines like "I'm sure I am a scumbag boy," or "fuck you, sado's!" There's just something about his music that can soothe the raging heart and mind of a lonely man. Not to mention his cover of PAR^NOID is immaculate. Beautiful nightmares. Beautiful, beautiful nightmares. Mary, there's no need to worry; I'm only your grandson, And you'll be fine, fine, fine... Also, this is kind of a big deal, guys:
  16. LANA? MOGWAI? NAKED & FAMOUS? DAUGHTER? WYE OAK? FUCKING FUCKBALLS I HAVE TO BE THERE. I AM SO VERKLEMPT.
  17. 106. Going into Aviation is the best course of action when you don't know what to do with your big degree in Philosophy.
