Just casually realising how LFL is "for the fans" and yet those songs directed @ us (Love, Coachella, etc) are ehhhhh not too bad, but then in the masterpiece Heroin she literally references the security threats that having fans has caused her (in the bridge) and then says she's fuckin sick of it.
 
Queen of calling out her fans on her album for her fans! Really though my heart breaks for her sometimes, i can only imagine how tough it can be for her. Living the dream from the outside, but really going through so much shit because of it. There are some sick people in this world, and I guess we're all guilty of objectifying her to an extent and infringing on her privacy. To think since that song was wrote our poor girl has had so many more crazy things happen to her.

Idk what I'm sayin I know that none of us even know her personally and it's wrong to think that we do because literally every detail of the poor woman's life is documented online, she might be doin great! But especially with the social media inactivity (which I think is healthy for her to be doing) I just wanna send out some positive vibes and say I hope you're doing well, Lana.

Melodrama had such good production that really showed an evolution of Lorde's style, im sure papa Antonoff is gonna pull thru!

Listen im not trying to be an edgy Ultraviolence snob or anything, but i really hope Lana strips back her sound again. There was something about that era that gave us the most insight into her inner thoughts and feelings and the stripped back sound matched it so well.
The real instruments cut out all the bullshit, as if Lana was like "that's it, you wanna make assumptions about who I am? Then take this REAL shit!" And I think it kinda worked. It cut out all the fakers and the people who really couldn't be bothered to look deeper.
We need this again.
Honeymoon was from another universe, but Lust for Life felt like such 'surface work', and there was a very clear filter in which it came through (P.S. THE DEMOS DONT HAVE THIS FILTER SO LEAK EM ALLLLL I BEG YOU"). Idk, i just think real instruments bring out her best, and creates the heavy atmosphere that captivated everyone to begin with.

I really don’t get the hate for Jack Antonoff at ALL. i get y’all don’t like taylor swift but it doesn’t mean that he’ll turn Lana’s music into something like that, he’s a good producer and he will be able to create something different from his previous works to make it fit with Lana’s aesthetics. also Lana is always involved in the production of her songs so if something ends up being “too pop” for y’all fake alternatives then it’s not Jack’s fault so stop being delusional. i'm honestly just happy she's pulling another move like she did with Dan Auerbach and producing with someone who has their own title as an artist. someone who understands that as an artist you have a clear vision of what you want and someone that can mold something WITH you instead of FOR you. kind of felt like Rick Nowels was getting repetitive and that lana needed to switch it up a bit to exceed a new sound in her career. lets all be real, who helped create UV with lana the most? DAN. and who's going to help create one of the best lana albums of all time? JACK.

Y'all if she does go pop it's because she wants too! Don't forget the album is always her vision. Plus, she's done pop in her unreleased! Maybe she kinda wants to experiment with it again. All the production on MASSEDUCTION & Melodrama were so good!!! I hope we get tracks like Pills, Hard Feelings/Loveless, Perfect Places, Slow Disco, Young Lover, Hang On Me, & New York. I want this album to be sweet & sexy. Weather it's pop, jazz, or folk I don't give a damn. I just want to feel the passion in the tracks. I want bridges like the Cherry & Heroin one. I want the album to feel like it's in winter, but it's burning. I want Lana to essentially go mental on this album. I loved Lust For Life! But what it lacked for me was that certain desire. A few songs had it though! Ugh I'm so excited for this record!
