  1. The interview is so enlightening about her relationships and justification for Ultraviolence. There were a few moments that made me cringe tho: most notably how into the LA wellness culture she is (just jarring as I've recently been looking into video essays of how toxic and scammy it is). Hope she steers clear of the problematic parts, but it does sound like her psychic is definitely good for her.

The video she posted with the hi-8 tape film is addictive! It sounds amazing.
  3. Die 4 me sounds like a good basic pop hit, but damn her vocals are excellent

I cant believe im going to have to watch an hours long movie with this weird alien prosthetic. But i already know it will be a better experience that k-12. I think the music will be better too, but im still not expecting the songs to have standalone value like her first album did.

Ok im kinda keen! Dont like the prosthetics but the album covers are still pretty. I really like the close-up one.
  9. I like the demo so much more
  10. IICHLIWP really hits this year. And this is genius. Never thought id honestly say halsey and genius in the same sentence but here we are!

I havent been keeping up with this thread so someone might have already said the same thing but So far i think that this is still Crybaby but maybe in another life, so like the same soul, but transformed. At the end of k-12 she probably did decide to follow Lilith and her friends into the better place. That better place is death and rebirth/beginning again, and now shes something else- an alien or a goddess or ethereal being or whatever. Kinda cool, kinda cant wait to see the visuals but dont think ill like the music that much.
  12. This! I hear it too. (4:42) P.s. where is this snippet? Im so dissappointed i havent picked it up. Edit. Ok found it at 5:48. didnt realise it was just the strings, but still cool, kinda like how the HBTB vocals appear at the start of Swan Song

Dollhouse was excellent and is exactly what made me stan in 2014! I watched it again not long ago and actually laughed out loud at the limecrime lipstick product placement. I never bought the collab tho. Did anyone here?

... okay gurl. It sounds good, but im just like, aint Back From The Dead a bit dramatic? We knew you were active the whole time
  15. People always reference UV as Lana's dark edgy era, and yes it partially was (im not complaining!), but most seem to forget it was also her hippie era. At least half of her stage outfits in 2014 were white or multicolored hippie dresses, and the album started much closer to a hippie (and spiritual) vibe than a raw rock vibe, not to mention the cult/guru references and late 60s/70s vibes. I think she mixed dark and grungy with bright and hippie so perfectly, sometimes we cant even tell it apart.
  16. I actually agree with this! I still believe the production is really fucking amazing- not too little, not too much, but personally I dont care for the lyrics at all amymore. I dont mind the chorus though.
  17. Im sorry, i know this was on topic but can you please spoiler or trigger warning this next time? Im just more concerned about the gif Valid points still
  18. I agree and i think shes mumbling it on purpose!
  19. The two of her standing with the cigarette in her mouth are EASILY in my fave Lana photos of all time
  20. I love the way she says "okay." Its like the "cause i know you wanna talk about it" in WFWF, but with a bitch face
  21. I think ive listened to it 20 times today. I am addicted. An epic western vibe (with Jack wildly improving his piano dont @ me), going trippy and witchy and then going into a slutty hip hop lullaby. Like WTF, i actually wanted to be this shook and it feels so good My absolute only wish is that the jimmy jimmy end section changed it up a bit and went wilder with her backing vocals or something, because i dont need that part to be 2 minutes, maybe 30 seconds would have been perrrrfect. Buuuut like wow, Ocean BLVD was already such a nice impression on me, but this isnt just nice, it's PERFECT. This is comparable to how I felt when West Coast and HBTB came out as singles. When she changes it up like this, i just CANT take my ears away from it
  22. Wtf that was GODLY. The difference between A&W and Tunnel remind me of how different High By The Beach and Honeymoon were when we got those songs out in 2015. This is really her best era since then
  23. Her first album in 6 years mightve been worth the wait, but will her first album in 12 years be? lets find out in 2025
