She looks gorgeous! But the music is so mediocre now. The production is good, but the lyrics and subject matter are cringeworthy garbage. 
 
Froot was her last good album. I don’t think she has much left in her. At least her first three releases are solid masterpieces.

I just think it's kind of interesting that she clearly likes the aesthetic of woodstock, the beat poets, idolises Bob Dylan etc but if she had been an artist at that time there's been little to no indication she'd be anything but a sell-out that people like Dylan would hate for their inactivism lol.

if she were a politician i wouldn't be expecting anything, i would be demanding it: a clear statement & immediate action, to be precise. that's absolutely not what anyone's expecting from lana.
 
let's not pretend like we, who regularly frequent lb, don't care more abt lana than on a strictly musical basis. after all, i've never spent my time on any other artist's message board reading abt how their music relates to their presumed relationships, so i'm obviously not checking or care whether those other artists posted abt this issue or not. i care in lana's case, which is why i'm here. if you don't care abt her stance on fundamental issues, that's your prerogative, but don't act like that's where the rest of us should draw the line. 

Artists are still people. I'm not an artist yet I spread the word because it's important and it's the decent thing to do. 
 
The thing is, Lana has portrayed herself to her fans to be socially aware and has actually gotten political before, so why now does she choose to be quiet? I understand she could receive backlash, but it'll happen if she does or doesn't make a post. If she cares, she'll bring awareness. It really is that simple. Her spreading awareness could do a world of good and prompt her fans to make donations and such. 
 
Also I think people here also forget that Lana has black stans, and I know quite a few are actually disappointed in her silence.

Simply speaking up about it and showing support would not turn her into a revolutionary lmao was anyone asking for her to become one??? Or any of the celebs?? Cuz i sure wasnt Lol

Yeah unfortunately not everyone has enough compassion and empathy to get off their high horse and do something selfless like support people going through immense hardship and pain
 
Not everyone has it in them to stand up for something that doesnt directly affect them
 
No one is obliged to have a good heart and be a good person
 
Hiding behind the guise of being an ~artist~ doesn’t excuse selfishness
 
I dont HAVE to help someone next to me who just tripped and fell, but me walking past them like nothing happened says alot about my character

I've really lost my respect for L and I'm disappointed to say the least. She always has time to promote the Hawaii moms but she can't post about millions of people's lives? Also yes she'd get some backlash, but raising awareness would worth it. For those who don't know  how important this is let me tell you: I live in a country where %0,001 of the population is black, so we don't have racism towards black. But we do have racism against some races. With this BLM action in America a lot of people in my country saw how disgusting racism is, that way maybe it could even help our problems too (i hope that makes sense). Anyways what I'm saying is raising awareness is necessary and L has no apologia for not doing that.

Her silence is her privilege. It has nothing to do with reputation because if you were outraged enough and desperate enough to ensure that accurate information is being spread as far as possible you would try and help.  

Not sure if I should be annoyed at her for not posting or relieved...

I hated Midsommar. Watch the Wicker Man (1973) instead.

I think that whole plot was a reference to germans guilt after the holocaust. I thought it was a way of saying "you dont need to carry the guilt forever, but history needs to reminds everyone so it wont happen again."
 
Btw i just fucking love that movie, im so obsessed with it.......

Anke + Jozef 
Anke lived only in the psychiatrist's memory, but after mother Suspiria (Susie) revealed that Anke was already dead and he was expecting in vain, she erased all his memory to relieve him from the pain & guilt (which in my personal opinion was not the right thing to do as her memories were the most precious thing in his life)
 
The last shot is an inscription the two carved on wood long ago when she was alive. So Anke & Josef's love is gone but the symbol of their love remains.

There is also a post-credit scene where mother Suspiria erases the memory of the audience through a hand gesture.

The finale was interesting. Kinda upset we didn't get the festival scenes filled with blood, and it almost seems like it was a filler plot. But it was a good, emotional episode. I still prefer the first half of the season than the second.
 
 
 

What an amazing season. Wow, I'm blown away. Since the very first episode it really captivated me, but I didn't think it would end up being amazing even in the end. I applaud this season and it's definitely my favorite ever. Wow, just wow.

Of all things you could nitpick you choose this? AHS is clearly its own universe independent from ours. The ghosts should have given it away...
