honestly you people are crazy
every time i open lanaboards (which is at least 10 times a day) there is like 5 new pages of discussion. And all that has been confirmed by lana is one song and two videos.
but mess @ us STILL waiting for a song, after 247 pages of 'discussion'

Just because we know she shot a music video and instagrammed snippets does not make us entitled to get new music immediately. Some of you guys are being really kind of rude with your expectations of her. She hasn't even officially announced HM (the song, and I mean as far as a release date goes) and we don't even have an album date so why are people talking like she's going to drop a single in the middle of the night or something.
 
Also, I don't know that it's fair to call her promo 'messy' when I don't even think she's begun promo. I'm sure the instagram page isn't the only promo she's got lined up. 
 
You'd think Lana's been on a 3 year hiatus with the way some are talking.

Lana looks so ... different o n the current selfies. Softer and the new hairstyle also makes her appear super-different compared to the BtD/UV looks.
I wonder if it's just because these are personal pics or if she might drastically change her visuals for the "era"

i feel like you're taking this too seriously... this isn't really a professional campaign ... honestly this whole honeymoon account was probably some idea she came up with at like 1 in the morning or something tbh. it doesn't seem organized because its not an organized campaign its just her posting some stuff she wants to share on insta 

In all fairness though the era itself has yet to really start - sure we've got an instagram account and we know that things are coming, but she's yet to even announce a single. The label's promotional run typically starts with the lead song, so why should we expect Lana to be hauling ass on a personal promo plan when the label isn't even ready? Let the girl have her fun, that's what the instagram is for at this point.

How do people think it's messy, really?
It's only been 12 months since UV and we've had a new album announced, two songs\videos in the works coming really soon, new Instagram with regular updates. It's not messy, it's exciting.

I think whatever qualms Lana had with her mother have been resolved. They seem to have a good relationship as of now, but that's just judging by instagram posts and such.
 
Hostility between the two might've formed when Lana was sent to boarding school. It seems to me like her dad was more sympathetic with her troubles whereas as her mother just wanted to send her away. And I really don't think abandoning your alcoholic teen is a good solution. Then I'm reminded of Lana saying her father had no idea she was making music or what kind of life she was living..mhh Interesting topic!!

Lemme open a thread about speculating Lana's relationship with her horse topiary. She looks very mad at it in this picture. Maybe she has a trauma with horse topiaries and she bought it just to be violent with it?

I think earlier on in this thread I had said something mean about her and I'm really regretting that. Since about February I've been obsessed with her and her music. I don't think it would be a reach to say that's she's probably my favorite singer after Lana. I'm glad I've seen the light
