    In my thesis, "Commentary on fame: Poetics and politics of womanhood through Lana Del Rey's life and art," I aim to explore the complex relationship between fame, gender, and artistic expression by analyzing the music and public persona of Lana del Rey. To do so, I will draw on theoretical frameworks from feminist theory, cultural studies, and musicology.

    Has anybody pointed out it's similarities to Let Me Love You Like a Woman (original)/Pink Champagne? Not just the instrumentals, but the lyrical content as well.     More general thinking : Y'all have to pls chill like the album only came out a month ago, she did mag covers, posted a visualizer, announced major festival dates, thats actually fast promo, she has family and friends, just like ppl from her team at interscope do. There are literal human beings behind these projects, MVs, and other instagram posts. As someone who work in the music industry, y'all have no idea how unpredictable it is. Fan demand is very pressuring and mentally draining. And don't think her team doesn't read your posts, someone is honestly paid 60k/yr+ just to read all of us on here lol (and other forums, social media platforms etc). Please y'all be patient, this era is anything but dry ! trust and believe <3

    You mean the bloody trunk? As I just said above, to my knowledge, there was never a large bloody trunk, or a trunk of any kind, associated with the murder of the BD. Her severed corpse was first come upon by a mother and a little boy; the body was just off the sidewalk in a field. How it got there is still part of the mystery. No one believes she was actually murdered in the field. 
     
    There's at least a dozen books about the case, check them out, some quite gruesome, but all full of speculation and guess work. It's a case similar to the Jack the Ripper murders, in which everyone and their mothers have been put forth as candidates for the killing. 
     
    CORRECTION: It was a little girl and her mother, not a boy.
