can something that doesn't exist leak?

was listening to NTMT yesterday, it's so fucking timeless. it's one of those albums that sounds like it could be released in the 90s or yesterday!

This idea Sky is not releasing because of her label isn’t quite true.  I think part is because she wants a bigger budget and more promotion, but a lot of it is her health and trouble sitting down in a studio and actually working on the thing consistently to a high standard.  Then she doesn’t feel happy with the recorded songs when she does record.  
 
Labels these days rarely put much promotion into new artists until they organically start to show potential, let alone one that debuted nearly a decade ago. She can’t be this delusional to think she’d get a full multimillion dollar promotion package. Her label are right nobody does care at this stage like a few thousand people. She’s been her own demise, so many other artists have managed with the same contacts it’s all excuses. 

yeah i genuinely and wholeheartedly don't think we'll ever get masochism. a release of...something is possible in the future, but i think everything is dead now. it's coming up to 10 years since NTMT and theres no signs of anything

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK MARINA FROM TFJ IS BAAAAACK

This is my favorite single cover from her since I became a fan in 2014 (yes, I've been a Marina fan longer than Lana lol). The whole concept that it's looking like she's built for this album is stunning, it feels so much more planned out and organized than L+F

The classic tongue and cheek Marina we all love is ALIVE!!!!

I love the production and it feels like an upgrade (I love all of her previous albums), and the message of the song is so straightforward and I fucks with it, she is  s p i l l i n g . Totally here for it. I just wish she worked better on the songwriting. It makes it hard to listen to the track in my opinion. I thought No More Suckers would be her magnum error but no, this one has some verses that
Anyways, I'll take it. I'm weirdly overhyped by the album.

How so? Venus Fly Trap sounds very similar. Man's World is also not very far sound-wise from this. If anything this could be her most cohesive.

I lowkey enjoyed she kept the Britney line tho

Im so excited for m5, the visuals are so good, and the songs so far ARR SO FKN GOOD im in awe<3  sounds like a TFJ esque song which is my favourite album???

Marina could have never been as famous as Katy Perry, but definitely some advancements could've been made to get her closer to the mainstream level of Florence + the Machine and Lana. I wonder if it's label fault.

Whoa I never expected we would ever get a glimpse of Purge's studio recording 

I know a lot of this is prob her label's fault but she's kind of losing me at this point. She actually had me pretty hyped for this album but waiting this long between singles has made me lose interest. I've loved all the snippets, but it doesn't mean much if I can't hear any of the full songs 5 months after the lead single 

Not an already released remix as b-side. This era's rollout has been terrible.

Yeah I think that line in particular is in VERY poor taste. I get that the song is in Britney’s defence but it’s just insensitive. Like she literally almost lost her life, almost leaving her kids motherless. It’s too raw to write about especially since it’s still so current and still takes a toll on her life. I hate to admit it but Marina’s been a touch tone deaf lately so I’m hoping that someone on her team has the sense to revise some of the lyrics

if this album even exists, i really want it to sound like thunder with a mix of i talk to jesus and the good life BUT with dan auerbach influences. or in other words, we're overdue for another uv-sounding album
