edit: it’s tough to tell whether they’re the same, but they do look similar!

I’m not gonna lie, I actually do think there might be some truth to this. We know that Lana likes to have the next record started before finishing the one she’s working on so maybe this is the studio sessions where she’s figuring out the next album. (I also think this might be the case with Jack’s involvement a couple months ago, too)

I’m hoping someone can identify who this is from Rob’s post (or maybe even recognize the studio from the original picture). It might be our next clue!

I just woke up from a LDR9 dream (my first one since this thread started!!!), and here’s what I remember:
 
1.) She was trending on Twitter, and the album was receiving A LOT of attention. 
 
2.) It was a surprise drop, and I saw someone online refer to it as an “epic” project (blaming Rob for this one lol)
 
3.) When I went to search for the album, the first thing I saw was an article titled “Lana Del Rey’s Essay,” and I remember being like, “Please tell me it’s not another QFTC”

that’s all I can recall. It was very vague/confusing, but it’s so interesting how we’re all dreaming about this record
 

there are clues we just don't know them yet that's what it is like how do u know a wall's a building or what's in the box u didn't even know so where's the lid that's where we are rn manifesting 14 tracks

The way this record was released on Friday 13th 2014. Oh Lana. 

8 years old. 8 fucking years. i remember when it leaked and listening to it thinking "wow, this woman really did this" and also i was kind of confused by how heavy it sounded. i remember skipping cruel world because it was so log and i wanted to keep listening to the other new songs oh and when I heard FLORIDA KILOS THE FIRST TIME
 
 
man what a time to be alive. what an album to experience. oh yeah and the time she sang ultraviolence the first time and everyone was fucking shook

I had my first dream about Lana last night. I was skipping and singing my gay ass through a brick tunnel while listening to the lead single. I know that she has way moreeee better unreleased bops but i have to pick whats viral on tiktok right now versus her very best ones.

Hoping there's a song that will make me as emotional as Terrence Loves You and Old Money

I'd love that for LDR9. 
 
Though I'm a big fan of most of LFL, it's neither 'witchy' or 'Blade Runner-esque,' (even if the latter was only intended for one song).
 
Maybe she should have asked Stevie Nicks for 'witch' lessons, as Stevie introduced witches into rock n' roll with 'Rhiannon' (though she later retracted Rhiannon's association with witches, which actually was incorrect), and later seemed to write about them again on 'Sisters of the Moon' (which some people think was about Nico). 
 
As I've noted before, Lana once said, with apparent disdain, that she 'grew up in a kind of Carly Simon household,' and it's funny how influences get under the skin, because, to me, a good deal of BB sounds like Carly Simon, especially BBS, IYLDWM, VFR, SC, and 'Arcadia.' And the same for some of the songs on COCC, like LMLYLAW, WAH, DTWD, and WD. 
 
I would like to see Lana break free of her 'confessional' period, if only for fans' sakes, for at least one record, and give us something 'revved up,' like 'Serene Queen,' one of my all-time favorites of hers, released or unreleased. 
 
But, as always, I'll take whatever she serves up. Some real aural surprises would be nice, though.

'Mezzanine' would actually be a pretty cool name for LDR9, especially after 'Blue Banisters.'
 
It could have symbolic associations too, "a low story between two others in a building, typically between the ground and first floors," as in, "I'm in a mezzanine phase of life, neither here nor there, neither in the past nor the future, neither where I want to be and don't want to be." 
 
Also, Cancer = Water sign, yes, but 'water' in astrology symbolizes feeling and emotion, so water would not necessarily be used in depicting Cancer, no more than a crab might be. 
 
I'm an Aquarius only 6 hours into Aquarius out of Capricorn, and have loads of Capricorn in my chart, but Aquarius is symbolized by the water bearer, even though it's an Air, or Thinking, sign. 
 
Astrology is all checks and balances.
