You're right to feel however way you want, but claiming responsibility for her art still having the possibility to be made = delusion. Which usually comes from obsessive thinking (as a long term fan I understand, but it's not beneficial for anyone). If you've lost interest and want to pull away, go for it. Name one artist in human history that would benefit from this kind of entitled thought process from alleged "supporters"?

I think the biggest issue is that she kinda killed the hype for Chemtrails by announcing a new album right away. It was unfair for the album imo. I agree with others that getting two albums in really short time is just blessing. If it doesn't come out next week, it's no big deal actually. But also she doesn't have to announce anything at all. She knows what happened in the past with dates. We would just wait and enjoy Chemtrails without any expectations. 

Personally, I don’t really care when she gives us fake dates. If there’s no pre-order, I don’t get hung up on release dates. It’s fun to pretend something’s coming, but I won’t be bothered that something doesn’t come when there’s no real indication of it. I’m not gonna work myself up and convince myself it’s a surprise drop then get upset when that doesn’t happen. I’m excited for the album, fake dates just don’t really affect me or my life. 

I do like LFL. I even love it sometime. But now that I've heard some demos from that era... I'm so sad. Imagining what the album could have been. The demos for Beautiful People, Love, the title track...  fuck.

To be honest I think it's for the best for her to separate from that, the toxicity, and put a wall up against expectations for her to keep churning out creativity for fans that A. don't even know her personally or understand the first thing about her life (myself included) aside from the heavily emotional nature of her work which makes people feel so connected (and I'm not saying she's above those fans or perfect, just that she doesn't need to listen to it to keep on living the way she's supposed to) and B. don't support her when she does anything contrary to those aforementioned expectations. You made a good point, I'm mostly just rambling. It's so easy for people in a state of entitlement to forget everything they've been given already, and to just ask for more. Ugh, industry, consumerism, etc. Regardless I think it's lovely and reassuring to see her carrying on and finding ways to be happy & share happiness with the world.
