I see no one has stated the obvious. She said we're getting a music video for cotcc, but before that we'll hear another song, lmlylaw.
If she meant we are getting the album before the music video she wouldn't say we'll hear just one song before it but the whole record.
So, for those of delusionists left, sorry to break it to you haha. No album before the music video, whoch means no album this week

I love her cute lil update video on Instagram and I really loved seeing her so happy and involved in this project but I wish she’d been more trasparent about dates... I mean, I get that maybe she can’t reveal COCC release date yet cause it’s not up to her and it’s probably still not set in stone by her label but, girl, you mentioned a new song (LMLYLAW) at least tell us when that will be out instead of keeping us guessing

At this moment I AM WAITING for the album coming on september 5th. We have an official undeniable date. She really should let us know by now if it's not coming. It will be more surprising if we won't get anything than if the date is not a lie and we are actually going to hear Yosemite track 9 this saturday. I just can't imagine it how is it even possible for a pro artist to give her fans a date and then do nothing about it like she didn't say anything. She can't pretend that she didn't officialy announce anything because millions of ppl remember that and are waiting. We'll see what will happen

1. digital album drops on sept 5 along w preorder for physical copies and merch
2. Lmlylaw drops on sept 5 to keep us happy after everyone is mad that theres no album
3. Literally nothing happens till october

Ok, back on Team Delusional for a second. She totally could’ve said that the album isn’t coming this week in that video but she didn’t, she just said “soon” - and the term “soon” denotes a shorter waiting period that is most conveniently relative to the 4th/5th. She explicitly announced that Violet wouldn’t be out on Jan 4th but just said “soon” this time around. 
 
But, LMLYLAW and the music video for the title track aren’t out yet, and she basically said those would be out before the album so my bets are on October 23rd or October 30th for the release now. But I would LOVE to be surprised on the 4th/5th.
