This new version is incredible. I already loved the OG version but this one has a replay potential the other didnt have.

we’ve really been fed as stans for the past couple years and a i feel like a lot of y’all don’t even realize it. since norman, we’ve got chemtrails and blue banisters within a year of each other, and then in october we got snow, and then in december we got tunnel title track, february a&w, march the grants as well as the whole 16 track album, and then this month we got say yes to heaven AND she went back into the studio specifically to add more vocals to snow… we’re really winning likeeee

i’m convinced some people on this website are hard of hearing  lana is full on singing the second chorus with taylor barely being there for background vocals and her deep voice overpowers taylor but y’all are still like “where’s lana!!1!!”.
 
taylor starts singing with “now it’s like” then after that lana is the main voice. 
 

my first listen i thought the new version was a bit awkward despite loving hearing lana more probably bc i'm so used to the other version lol but after a couple listens i can say i really do like this version better. the second verse was given more of a mellow lana vibe for her which was nice and the tempo change makes the song more interesting and i was pleasantly surprised to here her more on the second chorus and to hear her closing out the song. its a shame this version will only be on streaming tho. taylor should release a till the dawn edition vinyl so we can finally have all the 3am tracks plus this new version of snow on the beach on vinyl

Just got around to listening to it and I love it! I’m not a hardcore fan of Taylor but I’ve been warming up to her music recently, and when the first version of their collaboration came out I didn’t mind how it ended up. I was just glad it happened at all, especially with the timing for me. But, omg, the second version! I’m glad they added different elements to the production instead of just lazily using the same as the first. Love Lana’s new verse. I’m gonna replay tf out of it during the winter.

Why is it that the perfection of Lana, her essence, always seems way more apparent in her collaborative work like soundtracks and, sometimes, features? 
Her vocals, her adlibs, here give me so much of Season of the Witch and the humming from Is This Happiness, and the backing vocal doubling "so dishonest; And it's fine" at 1:44, the tone of her voice there, it just kills me, because it just sounds like something that I remember falling in love with, it sounds like the purest form of her to me. I think I do prefer the original production in terms of specifically the instrumental, but other than that, an already vocally beautiful song just became that much better. I think it's probably one of the more intricately arranged ones vocally. 

On a sidenote, I think the vocal arrangement on this one and Season of the Witch is done in a similar style, so I thought it would be interesting if she ended up using that as a direction for her new record... Wouldnt hold my breath for it though. 

I liked the original version, but was bummed Lana didn't really had her moment to shine (even though she did stand out with her harmonies) 
This version, however... I love! I love her humming, and I love how her voice sounds

the new version is beautiful. It’s what I imagined the OG was gonna sound like. So glad we finally have this 🩷 I don’t care what part of her voice she is using or not it sounds perfect.

Honestly. I’m not a swiftie but the hateful things said about her in this thread is just… We know Lana, she’s quite strange sometimes and she does weird stuff (which is one reason why we adore her). She likes to let other artists shine.

Are you guys absolutely insane? Most of the best music of all time came before 1980. You guys just sound like mainstream pop stans who can’t stand anything with grit or a bit of fire.

Heroin, Venus in Furs, Sweet Jane, Walk On The Wildside, CONEY ISLAND BABY, Walk on The Wild Side,  Caroline Says II, Perfect Day, like HELLO??? No its not some benign sht rolled in glitter, sorry but if you DO want that from pre-80s… DAVID FCKING BOWIE
 
Not to mention the entirety of the Beatles discography and their respective solo material being some of the most inventive music ever created. Leonard Cohen, Kate Bush, Pink fucking Floyd, The Stooges, Jefferson Airplame, Roy Harper, JONI FCKING MITCHELL, Roxy Music, Iggy Pop, ALL OF PUNK ROCK and the start of post-punk… I mean COME ON… Talking Heads. Krautrock, Psych Rock, Prog Rock and so much more

Some of these songs reportedly may still see release. Please be extremely careful when sharing leaks. Slayyyter is not that far removed from Lanaboards, and all it takes is one song for us to get in trouble.
