Her first official sellout album is coming! I don’t doubt I’m gonna love a few songs on there but it’s def gonna sound like a random playlist instead of a cohesive body of work lmao

They had me in the first half… lost me in the middle, got me back at the end. Tbh Coconuts & brr shouldn’t have made it… A thousand pieces and try it again would’ve been perfect and the album would’ve been cohesive 

Love Ya, Leave Ya deserves a spot on the album. 

Again, this is a case that needs to be studied. Hit after hit, an amazing discography, then just absolute spiral.

thinking of the fact that we'll never get visuals for Sirens

I feel bad for even complaint about Malibu and FSN which I found mediocre… this is a whole new level of disappointment. What is going on with her? 
Like how is this the same girl that made There Will Be Blood, Do Me, and If U Think About Me?

The chorus being the only good part of this song... Even the Nicki verse is mediocre. 

What a missed opportunity

I cannot stop screaming how the internet was basically going “that sample is bulletproof and there’s no way they can fumble the song” and then they get L*ke’s “my first trap beat” drum loop running. You can’t make this up I swear.
 
I have no ideia of how this will work for her. For sure Nicki’s name will do a fucking ton of heavy lifting and allow this to debut on Hot100, probably even a great peak… but it doesn’t strike me as something that will last.
 
her worst mistake was signing THAT contract instead of keeping her brand as it was.

Here’s 10 reasons why Garden should have made it into the album:
 
1. It would be the track that the album cover would be based on. It’s literally a garden portal. 
2. “When you aren’t around I sink into the ground.” - Death
3. “Honeysuckle and Fresh Meat” - Tunnel Vision
4. “Mushrooms Everywhere I’m Turning” - Faerie Soiree
5. “Covered in muck from the earth (Garden) and the sea (Sirens)” - Venus
6. “You cleansed me like a waterfall” - Light Shower in response to “hey where’d the water go?” 
7. The entire song Spider Web is meant to go into Garden. Garden is suppose to be between leeches and Spider Web.
8. “They flocked to my garden” - Leeches
9. The seeds have been sprouting” - Pluto
10. “Dug out a hole, and sow, that’s where your body goes” - Garden connects well with Death.
 
In conclusion, Garden connects in theme and lyrics to over half the album and deserved to be included. 
 
While The Contortionist and Powder don’t connect thematically at all to any of the album (Though both of those songs are AMAZING).
