I want Lana to belt in NFR. She can do it. And her belts are so healthy now compared to a few years ago. I'm sure she can make us have a heart attack if she belts like she did in Terrence Loves You or a few performances of PWYC at the end of the LATTM Tour.

id rather have 11 strong tracks like UV than have 16 weak tracks like LFL

I agree with the 11 cohesive tracks rather than 16 with at least 6 of them being weak fillers

Get Free is her best closing track in her main discography to date.

Lana Del news on Insta said things would pick up again in December and that she would treat us good. There are a few accounts I tend to believe but that one Is more reliable (it didn’t get the axe treatment when all the other fan accounts got asked to be deleted from Insta during the LFL era, and Lana dms him from time to time).
Whether this is true or not, logic tells me she has to announce something / release something this month. It’s been too long. So maybe the poetry book and the release date ?!?

we will see her soon enough at the Jack Antonoff event on December 5 (Wednesday)
even if she does not say anything about the record it will still be cool to see her sing for a great cause!

High as Hope vinyl booklet thing has some extra random things written all over it so that would actually be cool!

Exactly what I was thinking. She said she was a waitress for four years before moving to New York. If she moved there at 18, that means she was a waitress since she was 14 which sounds kinda strange to me

me: listens to song 300 times in a row

me: this song aged like MILK!

Also, Poppy might not be the actual abuser but Mars made it clear that Poppy was complicit in allowing it to happen and supported Titanic in stealing her look/character. She seems like a shite person tbh and is tied to Titanic like she is on a chain. Grimes may well be pretentious or whatever behind the scenes but she isn't harming anyone.

okay, i knew about the initial backlash on the mention of their collab (in fact my comment under grimes twitter status ‘collab’? got some of the most likes looool)

i never knew that grimes turned to the light after that
well poppy might not be an abuser but releasing the song against grimes will just makes her more of a piece of shit

yeah no she just works with an abusive producer. it's kind of similar to the Kim Petras/Dr. Puke situation

Grimes didn't want to have anything to do with Poppy/Sinclaire, so she was against releasing anything they worked on together after finding out she was working with awful people (Sinclaire abused Mars and kind of ripped off her image).

Is there like an unreleased masterpost ya'll can give me a link to?

idk if this was like, known but HANA'S version of We Appreciate Power is the first one according to the writer. She re-recorded it with Poppy and then scrapped that version and released the old HANA one.

I like the song. I do. And I'm so glad it's getting HANA some good radio play, she deserves it.

It's just that wannabe science part at the end. It sounds like she's trying to sound good enough for Elon Musk (who I don't even like anyway), also trying to get on Lana's level with HBTB, and she also sounds like Poppy saying 'submit'. Hmmmmm.

Anyway, the songs been stuck in my head and I love the electro metal sounds.

Edit: I found out the tea of poppy grimes drama so all clear now

This is coming from Poppy, the same person who defends her abusive/creep of a partner, Titanic and who continued to throw subliminal jabs at his ex, despite the fact that she herself was allegedly abused and Mars provided proof of her traumatic experiences in the lawsuit. I don't believe a word she says. If Grimes ended up following Mars, then something happened behind the scenes that showed Grimes that she made a huge mistake collaborating with her and Titanic. Titanic is very controlling, so they both probably got into many disagreements behind the scenes. He probably pulled the same stunt like last time by flipping it on the victim ("Titanic isn't abusive, SHE's (Mars Argo) working with my abuser"). This time it's "Titanic is easy to work with", Grimes was actually the one who was "controlling". That "self-proclaimed feminists" part also sounds like something Titanic would say in a rant on twitter. HANA seems like a great artist and sweet person, so why would she still be close friends with someone like Grimes if Poppy's claims were true? Grimes can be a hypocrite to me sometimes, but that's the worst I get from her. I call bullshit.

I've thought about it a few times but I've been visualizing myself being a grandpa boping to ldr with my wife/husband everyday. So many of my memories are attached to her songs and just like @InnAMORamento said, it's an idealistic view but I've been a Beatles, Eminem, Ariana (i still love her), Arctic Monkeys stan and Lana Del Rey is the only artist i still listen to 24/7.
I do like the artists I mentioned before but I don't feel the same way I feel about Lanz

I tried to stop listening to her years ago...I occasionally might have one or two weeks where I only listen to a few songs here and there, but tbh I think she's gonna be with me for my whole life, and MAC/VB really solidified this. Like my dad was a huge Eagles fan when he was my age and he still listens to them so
