I think they're just working on something else. Lana is always recording new music. She started working on UV in 2013 not long after Paradise, on HM in 2014 right after UV was released, and she started LFL the day HM was released. And before she started working on NFR, she was still in studio sometimes/or listening to her own unreleased music maybe with the idea of releasing an album of unreleased songs

I want a good boxset this era like we did with paradise and ultraviolence. Especially since (allegedly) MAC, VB, Hope and Doin Time aren't going to be on the record, she could put out pyshical singles (even though I think VB is too long for a 45).

If you haven't listened to any of Lana's albums in order in a moving vehicle going through mountains then I suggest you do

Why don't we move this discussion to one of the many threads about her going to churches? I know we don't have any news about the album, but I think we should leave this thread to comment only about LDR6 news

I had to read this paragraph five times because I thought there's no way you could have actually typed this out, read through it once again and said, "Yeah that sounds good, I'll post it :)". It is SO INCREDIBLY stupid and disrespectful to compare the lives of the poor people in North Korea, which just so happens to be a DICTATORSHIP, who are starving, who cannot freely voice their opinion, who are being killed if they dare to disagree with their "great leader" or try to escape to South Korea etc., to a rich, privileged, straight white cis-woman's CHOICE (!) to go to (and therefore support) a homophobic and misogynistic megachurch. PLEASE educate yourself on this matter!

You know, if you have homophobes, misogynists, extreme conservatives and any other kinds of assholes disagreeing with you, that's usually a sign that you are doing something RIGHT.

Then she should've started a knitting club or opened a matcha bar instead of joining an openly homophobic church.

This x 100! My respect for somebody's views (religious, political, philosophical, whatever) ends as soon as those views disrespect someone else's (particularly a marginalised, suppressed group's) existence.

Wow you're still as kind as before as I see. I'm human, I can make mistakes. It's been months and I got confused, this can happen. You could answer more gently or even DM me but I guess being mean with people fits you well.

No shade to any leakers but if you've got it, why not just share it? I don't understand the whole "withholding" aspect of leaking ... the only reason I can think why anyone would do that would be for attention?

Admittedly, I know nothing about the process but so much of it seems like prick-teasing to me.

Okay so i have a theory on why she wants to release the poetry book before the album:

When I first heard MAC and VB I immedlately thought "wow this is sounding like Lizzy Grant it's not Lana Del Rey", I do think this album is going to be really raw and probably her most personal  ever, even when MAC premiered she said she wanted it to be out of her. The title of the album itself or the name of the tracks are not Lanaish but definitely more Lizzy. Now, have you noticed how most of her songs always follow the same pattern, lyrically speaking? She always sings about the same themes, kind of like she is stuck in time and probably because it feels 'safe' to her rather than just expressing herself openly on new subjects (just take for example Lust For Life, she had new themes but there were still songs like Cherry or 13 beaches which are more her Lana persona style). If you've noticed in her poems she started actually exploring more fully new themes which probably are closer to her rather than the Lana character. She wrote this album along the poems for herself and not for an alter ago she wanted to portray. And since we're all used to Lana and probably have no clue who Elizabeth really is, I think she fears we won't accept her true feelings and will bash her again for not being the depressed Born To Die chick. In my opinion she wants to release the poetry as an intro to the album to not ""shock"" us too much and prepare us. If you think about it judging someone's music is actually quite easy, but judging someone poems is harder because you know those are their true feelings. So as I said, she'll prepare us with her poetry book first and then after reading her inner thought we'll be able to fully understand the album.

So yeah this is my opinion on this whole situation.
Also, to clarify: I'm not saying Lana Del Rey is dead, I just simply think Elizabeth was probably lost and needed to take some time for herself and recollect her thoughts.
