I think Lust For Life is a really great song! I'll be honest i was expecting a much longer song with some kind of big beautiful ending, kind of like what she did with off to the races or I can fly, i don't know it's still amazing though! I love how she always somehow manages to give you chills, even when she's saying "take off your clothes", the melody at that part makes me emotional

I'm really surprised at how well the audio on youtube is doing! 3m views already! Even Gaga only has 2m views so far and her song came out a couple of days ago... AND she performed it at Coachella, man that song is flopping HARD

The song is not generic. generic = sounds like everything else. This does not. This kind of satirical thing she's doing with the Hollywood sign fantasy is really fun and different - that is not generic. Yes it's not crafted as a lyrical masterpiece but not every song needs to be. This song has a lot of personality which is very fun.

Honestly the fact is has reached these positions on iTunes with these almost spoken word parts is crazy

Y'all need to remember that she is an artist, and a true artist writes consistently... They write whats on their minds and even sing it out, kind of like a song freestyle.. I'm sure Lana has written 3743247302472304 + songs but it doesn't mean that they will appear on her next album. At this point i'm sure LFL is finished. Beautiful song, beautiful soul.

Whatever happened to just enjoying the music, and letting the artists worry about the logistics?

This chart obsession with some of you is... not cute. Like of course I want her to be successful, I want her to do TV performances and sell as much albums/singles as she can and expose her talent and music to a bigger audience. And I would feel proud seeing her at the top of the charts. 
 
But it's clear by now that it's not what she is aiming for. She will of course be happy and so will we when she gets some success but either way she's happy with her situation, Interscope/Polydor/managers seem happy with her and so I am happy and don't care how much she charts. 
 
If I badly want her to promo, it's not because I want her to sell some more albums/singles (although that would be a really nice effect), it would mainly be because I would get new content as a fan (TV performances, festivals, interviews on radio/mag etc.) 

If Lana saw this forum she would cancel the album
