I listened again on better speakers and Dolby Atmos. Special made me cry because I’m going through it with my dude. I like the album more once I had a proper listen. Loved F2F too. I think I take back what I said earlier.

maybe it's cuz i'm tipsy but i'm listening to the album for the first time and REALLY vibing with it. like i needed this.

honestly there's no song that i didn't like, there's just some that stood out to me more and it feels a lot more like a mixtape than an album but that's fine since we're still getting new music
i can see some songs continuing to grow on me, and i might try splitting the album up into 2 different ones to make it a little more palatable instead of the 23-track run

the album is too long for meeeee. she's definitely talented but I guess I expected something different since there was a 5 year wait. I think there's a lot of similarity between the songs that makes them hard to differentiate on a first listen. I feel like on her first album each song had such a punch and a burning passion and her voice was so clear and soaring. I'll have to give it another listen when I'm driving in my car.

Ok after a full listen it def needed an edit BUT there’s so much that’s stellar here, her mind IS a diamond

i mean its not an instant classic but i had fun. i really need to sit with some of these songs though, and i wish she made a few cuts.
no album with 23 songs is gonna be perfect but some of these songs just don't have a lot of replay value to me like seek & destroy or conceited

Im looking forward to it but as soon as I heard that there were 23 tracks I lowered my expectations. Who needs to put that many songs on an album!??? There’s almost no way to pull that off without half of it being filler.
