I promised myself I wouldn’t listen to the snippet that much but it’s so heavenly and it’s our only hint to the vibe of the album so I can’t stop. It’s so beautiful and I can’t wait to hear where the song goes from there and how the rest of the album will sound.

I get what you mean when some of you are saying that you get Cinnamon Girl and Honeymoon vibes from TJF, but in a lot of ways I think it sounds like nothing we’ve ever heard from her before. I think we’re getting a brand new era, guys - and I’m here for it!

I was thinking... perphaps we are a little thirsty, if not unappreciative. I mean, she fed us. Really. In one year we had a new album, a poetry audiobook and soon also an exclusive poetry book. We are lucky indeed and maybe we should just take some time to enjoy what we already have in store.

I've been an admirer of the photographer Robert Adams for a while now, and he did a collection called 'The New West' in the 70's, and it's giving me COCC vibes (although it's partly because Lana is currently spending time in the south)

I can't be sure about this, so don't quote me. This is just me speculating;
 
Given the whole COVID situation, we don't know how many staffers are on the job at the Interscope headquarters in Santa Monica right now, so things may be slow in regard to finalizing the release date of COTCC. This is part of the reason why I have said in my earlier posts not to be surprised if the release gets pushed to November which is popular for album releases because of the holidays. 
 
But I will agree that if this album is coming out Sept 4, we should hear something within the next few days. If not, then we probably shouldn't start holding our breath but at least be patient.
