Compared to her other songs from this era, this is baffling. Sounds boppy and fun. I'm just not sure sonically where it fits or what this album is supposed to sound like, since we definitely didn't get the rock inspired guitars with Hope, and this cover doesn't have the piano of HTD or Happiness. Obviously the album is going to be more varied than that but this is upbeat and bright, not the 'sad girl shit' she described and she also promised no bops. . .

Yeah ... it's confusing. No shade, the snippet sounds great, but something odd is going on. It doesn't fit with NFR. I also have an inkling that it's a collab and that she's not singing the entire thing herself.

LMFAO I called AllAccess and  she said I've called too much about the Lana Del Rey song and I said I didn't even call before. And then I called MediaBase which she said they get everything from and the guy said there was nothing in the system and then said he is a bigger fan of Lana than me. I'll post recording.

Patiently waiting for the fake lyrics to roll in, followed by a 35kbps snippet leak from someone who "got it from Shazam before it was taken down". Then we'll endure a week of silence from Lana, to which we will then all receive a post notification from Instagram, and all flock to it in excitement...hoping its official...only for it to be a photo of some random ass street in a purple hue filter with no caption. Two minutes later she'll post another poem, and remind us it's coming (without mentioning a date). Finally, May 20th will arrive. And the meltdowns over how the "level of unprofessionalism is far too much"...the cycle goes on and on.

I'm both at the point where I really want to hear it (and support an artist I love by shovelling out my non-existant dollars) but I also just want to forget about it.
